Both main characters have a close male friend who is brutally injured by main baddie. (They both look on in horror, with a long cry of NOOOOOOO as the crushing strike is delivered. )

Both main characters have been trained by a small, unassuming little Asian man with a moustache.

Has anyone noticed how similar Bloodspor and Kickboxer are? List any similarities you see. Both main characters are in some kind of fighting contest.

I would have to say all the floors of the Pagoda in Game of Death (the original Bruce Lee version) Not only were they quite un-movie-like, but he talks about MA stuff as he goes along e.g. broken rhythm. If he had lived to its completion, there's no doubt in my mind that Game of Death could have been one of the greatest MA movies of all time.

My favourite Miyagi fight is probably when the instructor from the Cobra Kai (sorry if the spelling's wrong) tried to beat him up. Miyagi moves right out the way twice, leaving the guy to punch through two car windows and slash his hands on the broken glass. Then Mr. Miyagi gets a hold on him. The guy looks like he's about to cry as Miyagi chambers his hand for a devastating strike. Then he just grabs hs nose and goes HONK. And the guy fainted!

Do you have an application for the first three movements of this kata. One of mine is stepping to the outside of your opponent, then hikite while striking to the jaw with your forearm. Then right hook punch to solar plexus, and left hook to the temple to finish off.
