  15. The difference in Hayashi ha shito ryu and Shotokan lie mostly in cat stance vs kokutsu dachi and the prevalance of shiko dachi's in the shito ryu katas. Many of the zenkutsu dachi's and kiba dachi's in shotokan were replaced by shiko dachis in shito.

  19. Walking is also an aerobic activity. Keep moving when you can't run anymore; but walk until you can run again.

  21. You can always get a pair of cloth shin pads and reusable cold packs. Cut a slit in the pocket that holds the pad in the shin pads remove it and then insert the chilled cold packs into the now empty pouch.
