It might be nice if someone can add some biographical information about Andy Hug. Not everyone has a high speed connection. Even for those that do a written biography would be nice addition.
Realize it will take you a long time to build up your endurance and be patient with yourself and consistent with your training. Evaluate why you want to train and see if you need to make adjustments to your reasoning.
Often an instructor will ask a young black belt of a similar physical size as a lower ranking student to work with them as part of the training process. You are helping her work on her skills while at the same time you are working on your own control. You should take this as part of your own learning process. In many dojo's it is part of the sempai/kohai relationship to assist in the learning process. Learning how to help lower ranking students is part of the trainig process and part of advancing in rank for my schools. Re-examine your attitude and see what you can give to the situation then you will gain from it.
You can always try to use your tonfa doing an empty hand kata you already know. That will help you to explore the applications for your empty hand katas as well as work on your weapons skills.
Many dojo's use simple I pattern katas like that to help beginning students learn and practice stances, moving, and punching. They can be done in zenkutsu dachi, neko ashi dachi, kokutsu dachi, and utililize any block or combination of blocks.
I am familiar with the movement but right now my brain is fuzzy application wise. That is going to wake me up in the middle of the night when it breaks through.
