  1. i see someone brought up breaking in the GEN MA section so i thought i would bring this thread to today's active topics.

  3. i feel the instructor and higher belts should have control and teach you to be a better fighter by example..but not use you as a punching bag till you achieve more experience. then you are more of a challenge,

TAEZEE...i've been in the same situation a few yeas ago...it's strange how you get those ambivalent emotions of how your glad it's not you but sad it's them...so in my case i came to the conclusion that i must live and enjoy my life for them and that they will watch over me and give me guidence in return.(hard to put in words) sorry for your lost.

  11. sometime it's just simple coordination some people have a hard time with the mechanics of jumping. try this simple exercise. lift one knee up jump off the floor with the foot on the floor and land on the other foot.. remember to use your arms for balance and coordination

  17. i have trained in hapkido in HAWAII and in TEXAS and currently hold a 1st dan in hapkido. i am a member of the TEXAS HAPKIDO ASSOCIATION ( MASTER JOHN M. SO). currently there is no hapkido schools or clubs close to my area that i know of, so i'm currently assiting TKD at a comminity center here in south florida. we look forward to your views and insight here. humble regards with a bow

  23. the incident mentioned above is a sign that the child or children involved do not have the maturity level to hold that distinquished rank....my point being that a true mature black belt would have just waited their turn instead of ordering others to move out of their way to register, instead of so called "pulling rank"....please ...........

  25. also as i have said in a prior post.....the cane also gives an apearance of an affliction or injury giving it's bearer an advantage....it is also one of hapkido's specialized wepons.
