  1. Yeap, she's 100% right. Then again, she's a responsible person... I'm not, I'm irresponsible and wreckless, I'd buy it :/
  2. I can't stand rap, most of it I simply hate. But I have to say, Eminem is pretty ingenious. His early stuff, atleast. Eminem earned his rank in today's music industry. First of all, he gained the respect of Dr. Dre (member of the NWA rap group), which isn't easy to get. Second, he's proven himself over in freestyling competitions that he's not just a joke (man, he's good, too). Third, he was the first of his kind (other than the fact that he was white... Vanilla Ice doesn't count *shakes head*), he was the first to come out with such brutal honesty (see The Way I Am) and crude sarcasm (try I Just Don't Give A ****). Anyway, he's toned down and not nearly as shockingly honest or funny as he used to be... so he kind of bores me now. I'm not saying that talking about tying someone up to a blood soaking mattress and stabbing them with shattered glass is a good thing... but hey, why do we all like to watch horror movies? Now, his skill isn't what got him famous, what got him famous was the thousainds of gay/lesbian rights activists that protested his sophomore (commercial) album, The Marshall Mathers LP. Ironic, huh? Now, if you want really intelligent rap, and EXCELLENT beats (they remix Mozart and Beethoven songs.. and they sound great) then try out Die Firma, but unfortunately, understanding German is a prequesite.
  3. a swiss army knife You can kill a man 500 different ways with one of those things. Actually, I'd just say a retractable knife with a 3" blade. I change my mind, a can of pepper spray!
  4. If it's an uppercut to the stomach, then try to twist your torso so that your ribs would face the uppercut, and keep your elbow tucked in to protect your ribs and defend against the shock of the uppercut.
  5. I'm absolutely 100% confident that you did better than when I tested for my first belt :[
  6. ::edit:: sorry, double post. P.S. taking notes was a great idea! Keep doing that.
  7. yeah yeah yeah, nobody cares, can I get my money now? On a more serious note, why don't you try out a few classes of either arts? They're both great arts. Just find out which style suits you better, for instance, I hate grappling/wrestling and I can't stand fluff and unecessary movements (like a 360 spin kick or something), so my base is a striking art, American Kenpo, which is very direct, practical and to the point.
  8. fight! fight! fight!
  9. Lol, sorry, I thought it sounded too good to be true. As far as for web services, I would definitely go with Brinkster, it's easy and reliable and gives you enough space to create a good website (assuming you're not going to have any downloads). Oh, and it's free, unless you sign up for a professional package, which I don't think you need. That's a good idea, except that only works if you're going to design one page exclusively. I'm not really sure if there's any way to bind pages together, such as that there's buttons that lead to another page... such as Home, Links, Contact, etc. But for now, that might be all you need. https://www.geocities.com/dogsmclan/ There's a website I made after 6 months of teaching myself Photoshop, Dreamweaver and taking HTML at a library, so it's really not that hard.
  10. If this is in high school, I wouldn't reccomend any groin business.
  11. I don't know what you're talking about
  12. In a sparring situation, probably Muay Thai.
  13. Oh yeah, I forgot it's not out on DVD yet... I, eh, acquired it through not-so-legitemate ways.
  14. everytime he hits you, fake a seizure. That would scare the crap out of me.
  15. lol, that's great. I can't stand cats, I only like one cat... Kosie, and that's because she acts like a dog.
  16. Woohoo! I was born in Switzerland and lived in Luzern, Zurich and Luganno for the majority of my life. YOU (@*#*&&@ #*&$*# *$# Oh, okay.
  17. Hey there. Welcome to the forum.
  18. Good deal, tell us how that works out for you.
  19. First, go to Brinkster.com (or Geocities.com but in my opinion, they suck) and set up an account. From there, you're going to need to either learn HTML or know how to use a program called Dreamweaver. That, or you can use "create-a-page" tools that websites like Geocities give you.. but that means your website is probably not going to be very attractive. Check out your library, they usually have free HTML classes, or sign up for a highschool/AIMS class, HTML is really, really easy to learn. Actually, cha-ching! I found the perfect thing for you. http://www.bushido.us/wizard.cfm There you go, it's an easy way to create a website and it will look good, too. And I'm pretty sure it's free (atleast it says it is).
  20. ..I can't even touch my toes. For some reason, though, I can almost do the splits, there's maybe a half-foot gap.
  21. Highschool - grades 9 - 12, ages 14 - 18 (generally) Are you from the UK? Thanks for the posts, everyone. I never had to talk to the coach again, since we've stopped playing court hockey. And I haven't gotten into any further trouble with anyone since the first encounter.
  22. He was a pretty smooth dancer, no? Maybe he just had natural ability.
