  1. welcome to KF!
  2. since i am from germany i dont think american kenpo is of importance to me because of the lack of schools. but nonetheless ur information already helped me a little and i am looking forward to more answers
  3. from a certain point of view it is illegal because u offer stuff on the internet that u and others actually should pay money for. on the other hand there are not yet laws against it in many places so theres nothing wrong about it. i heard that the music industry produced fake files all over the p2p programms that downloading there becomes kinda frustrating. but i dont know exactly and havnt too much expirience with it.
  4. man - this chinese stuff sure is complicated. so many styles ... thanks to everyone that answered!! i came to the conclusion that i dont like wushu
  5. well done! looking forward to ur next test highlight clip
  6. welcome to the karateforums!!
  7. since i found out that wushu is certainly NOT what i was looking for i searched in my are and found this Shaolin Kempo school. mostly the same i wrote in my wushu thread goes for this one, too. though i know where kempo came from. but what is it about anyway? how does the belt ranking work? are there any emphasises put in shaolin kempo like kicking in TKD or something? is it good for self defense? who of u attends training in shaolin kempo? ur answers are appreciated - thanks in advance...!
  8. same goes for any martial art, doesnt it?
  9. u see kirves, i can do posts almost as long as yours
  10. I am not american and only 17 so maybe i am not wise/bright/expirienced enough to fully understand matters of politics and war BUT: in find it surprising how bush could blew up surplusses and the growing economy in no time at all. but at least he didnt have more votes than gore who in my opinion would have been the better choice. too bad bush became president nonetheless, but whatever. whats done is done! its interesting that such a non-intellectual person (college drop out BELOW average and failed as the chairman of three oil comanys as far as i know) but whatever... as for the middle east: is was clear from the beginning (after WWII), when the brittains brought the jews back to what then was Palastine, that there would be war, because, just like in europa, in the middle east as well, NOONE wanted the jews to be there. what i really hate is the methods of the palastines to recruit these "suicide assassin". the most popular tv show for the smallest kids (like the sesame street) tells them that it is good to blow up urself and kill as many israels as possible. sure - sharon aint the best partner for a peace contract but under former president Ehud Barak they were SO CLOSE to peace, but Arafat (the ***** that got Nobell Price for peace ) didnt take it although it would have guarenteed a new palastine nation, the end of military strikes by israel, drawing back of military from gaza and the safe return of driven out palastines. no need to wonder why the israels now votet for a president that kicks the palastines b***... no one really has complete control over the palastine extremists no there'll always be violence and violence as an answer for the violence from before and violence for vengeance for the violence that was meant as vengeance for the violence blablabla... maybe it was wise to pull back and not to make so many efforts like clinton did even in his last week of being president, for a contract. before this becomes too long i better quit with my hope for the future: i believe that there will be peace some day. maybe it'll take some time, but there have been many civil wars that appeared to never end, but they did. NOT a way to reach this is by increasing the military budget or whatever... the hate must be defeated, then we got a chance. thank you
  11. man u guys r smart one of the hypotenuses is convex while the other one is concave. it makes it look like it'd be a triangle but it isnt. the one take about so much space more than the other one that exactly one of the square can be left out. i myself didnt get it by first look and i guess u were even faster than i was but i guess not everyone could have figured it out! that it has to be some kind of illusion was clear from the beginning, but that wasnt enough actually its sad that u two got it so fast - i hoped some more would participate
  12. hahaha - i liked it
  13. kung fu bunnies - thats TOO perfect
  14. sure it counts i am looking forward to maaaaany posts then
  15. agreed as for the rest of ur post midnight, there are always these dudes... but i do not plan to end up like them. maybe i will but i'll do my best to NOT become such a, now what was the word again? paedric yudansha??
  16. i guess NOTHING AT ALL as well refers to the boxing gyms.
  17. and btw: i like ur missing dollar riddle. its rather old, but a real good one!
  18. yes indeed - so how can it be possible that suddenly one square is missing?
  19. that indeed is certainly NOT what i am looking for in an martial art...!!
  20. i am not sure whether i did get u right... the rearranging does NOT change the shape. it cant because for the same reason that makes the combined area stay the same: the sum of the squares dont change in these 2 arrangements.
  21. ah - yeah... my question is answered i think. i dont quite see the difference between wushu and gymnastics anymore as for what i am reading here.
  22. yeah kind of... but is there perhaps anything else interesting to know about? due to the fact that it is a "non-combat martial art" (wierd...) its probably not what i was looking for...
  23. welcome back and the best wishes!!
