  1. Krav Maga is really good, but i dont know too much about Wing Chun so i wont participate in the poll.
  2. yeah, guess so. but if its only the fancy kicks u want, sansoouser, then any tkd dojang (either ITF or WTF) will do fine.
  3. i never heard about getting a black belt in ANY art after 2 years. except maybe for ppl who train 6-7 days a week or something...
  4. u come from san soo and look for a good fighting/self defense art??? anyway, its hard to tell whether that, would u learn at some TKD school is good for self defense. actually, yes, TKD is good for self defense. if ur dojang focusses on scoring points in WTF sparring, its probably not. there are many interpretations of the original, combat orientated TKD. many schools teach grappling or the use of weapons as a part of tkd so its really really hard to tell. hope that at least helped a little
  5. seems like u cant order them in your dojo, otherwise u probably wouldnt ask. you might try e-bay or special martial arts catalogues. ask around in ur dojo whether someone has to give away older stuff, but dont buy any bull**** of them, just because its cheap.
  6. https://www.uedem.de any questions
  7. yeah, me too 15 is very good and at any age u probably wish u had started even earlier. there is a thread around with a poll on how old everyone was when he started.
  8. good luck and tell us how it has been when u r done!
  9. back to the strong and weak points of san soo please. i am interested in this style and actually wanted to start an own thread on the same subject.
  10. monkey style - lol interesting thread - keep on posting but who was our grandmaster that voted "high black belt"
  11. a stick (u mean a bo-staff u guess) is something completely different then a baseball bat. the bat is more of a club than a stick.
  12. hard to tell - i dont think its a matter of ITF/WTF (self defense/sport) whether its a good workout or not. it differs from school to school and from instructor to instructor. thats why i asked for TKD in general
  13. is there any style that teaches the use of baseball bats???
  14. this kind of machine would perfectly fit into my cellar
  15. welcome!
  16. welcome!
  17. i chose my avatar because it is related to TKD and i regard it as cool and i didnt find any better.
  18. welcome to the forums!!
  19. i consider myself enlighted.
  20. to come back to the sport arts: i regard Muay Thai as a sport art and it makes excellent fighters.
  21. yes, judo is very good in the streets. there has to be a reason why there are about as many judo practitioners in the world as there are karatekas/TKDists or even more.
