KarateForums.com Merchandise? Feedback Wanted!!!
Patrick replied to Patrick's topic in KarateForums.com Announcements
Hmm... I spent some time typing what we could offer. When I say "What would you like to see" I mean, out of those products. -
Hello, I am gauging the interest in KarateForums.com Merchandise (IE: would you buy, what would you buy, etc.). Here are the products we would be able to sell, featuring the KarateForums.com logo. http://www.cafepress.com/cp/info/products/ -Temporary Products- Backpack Unistrap Bag Metro Bag Briefcase Messenger Bag Insulated Cooler Bag Black Cap Hooded Sweatshirt -Regular Products- Wall Clock Flying Disc License Plate Frame Small Poster Large Poster White T-Shirt Ash Grey T-Shirt Jr. Baby Doll T-Shirt Tank Top Ladies Tank Top Golf Shirt Baseball Jersey Long Sleeve T-Shirt Sweatshirt Boxer Shorts Visor Baseball Cap Beach Hat Stainless Steel Travel Mug Frosted Mug Large Mug Mug Tile Coaster BBQ Apron Tote Bag Mousepad So, lets hear it... would you buy products? What would you buy? Have any unique ideas for products? Such as "I'd rather be posting at KarateForums.com" on an apron? I appreciate any feedback on this subject.

Well, no company made it, as I said, in some communities it would be spoken in a negative connotation, like "that's so ---" and we won't allow those types of remarks around here, but most likely and hopefully we won't have them posted. I see you like the new font colors.
-
I don't particularly need any remarks like "come on, blah" and "what gives?" and "I find that disgusting" and the like. If there is an issue, present it respectfully. We have installed a profanity censor, the afformentioned word was pre-packed into it and is often used with a negative connotation - I am suprised I have to explain this, I have removed it from the censor however, as we may find more words over time that may need to be removed from this pre written censor. "Kuk" was one just yesterday.

The title is right under your name. -
Not sure. It will be a couple of months before we have everything we want online... but progress will be made every day.
-
Sentry, You did post it in General Chat - it was moved.
-
This is not the "new look." This is only a temporary look.
-
Thanks.

Hello, I have upgraded the forum to phpBB 2.0.1, this allows for a lot of new functionalities. As we will be working (changing) on the site in the coming weeks/months, I will post a fuller explanation later, but for now, here are a few: Enhanced PM Inbox Avatars More indepth post formatting Polls (You can post a poll!) Many other small enhancements Keep in mind that most EVERYTHING that you see on these forums right now will be changing, the smilies will be back to normal, etc... just so you you all know right now. There are broken images... maybe broken links... lots of things, it will all be fixed. Thanks, I look forward to this site becoming the place for Martial Artists everywhere.

Sentry, I edited your post and altered the question slightly, just to make sure that no one would be offended. Thanks. -
The long running KarateForums.com Survivor Challenge has come to an end with our final two competitors being SaiFightsMS and KSN Doug. First, I would like to say that I hope that everyone had fun and learned a little bit as well, while becoming closer to the KarateForums.com Community. I would like to thank KickChick, Jack and anyone else that I have forgotten (sorry, my memory isn't too great ) that contributed challenge information. This event started way back on March 18, 2002 and is now ending on August 2, 2002. 4 months and 15 days! Now, onto the Final Vote. I will space the votes out to add a little suspense to this Final Vote. The following are the votes for the CHAMPION. VOTE 1: KSN Doug VOTE 2: KSN Doug VOTE 3: SaiFightsMS And that's it! KSN Doug is our champion. Congratulations to him and thank you to all our previous players, especially SaiFightsMS, for their quality level of play. KSN Doug will receive a special title under his username for one month in honor of his win. Thank you for participating.

Good news! We have gotten this all sorted out and I plan to upgrade the forum in the evening, CST U.S.. Keep in mind that the forum will look different (aqua and orange) and be missing some things. This is only temporary and I will be making changes every day to get it back in line with the KarateForums.com Style.
