  1. I might go to college, might not. Have my own beliefs on that one. I have a very flexible job I'll be starting next month. Tech support - cell phone based - for a good sized, national, ISP. Won't pay a lot, but then again, it is very flexible.
  2. Yeah, take it easy man.
  3. If I would have known it, Deby, I would have done something. _________________ Patrick O'Keefe KarateForums.com - Administrator/Grandmaster RIP - Left Eye [ This Message was edited by: Patrick on 2002-05-29 13:25 ]
  4. James turns 17 today. Happy Birthday!
  5. I meant to make a post sooner... but we were down. Finished high school a week ago (finished up the documentation yesterday). I am finishing a little less than a year early. Done! Time to create some new websites, upgrade some current ones (wink, wink) and... find a job.
  6. Just a reminder to get those entries in! Even if you submit a small entry it is better than no entry and may keep you from being voted off! May 31 at 10 PM CST will be the deadline!
  7. No flaming is going to go on, either it is going to be a civilized convo, or it won't be at all. Thanks.
  8. Honestly, we make as many mistakes as anyone else. Our mistakes get magnified though, because we are the biggest. Its like playing baseball in New York - for those that know what that means. I have many Canadian friends and know many Canadians as well and most of them have something negative to say about the U.S. Not positive why, because I'd hate to steriotype Canadians as being resentful, I mean, you guys have benefited so much for being bordered with us, its not even funny, but I guess that gets forgotten as well.
  9. It wasn't too good. Hapkido, have you checked your private messages lately? Please do as soon as you can. Thanks.
  10. Yeah, it may be kind of weird. But, it is coincidence. Funny, thing... the other day I went to look are my computer log for my home school credits (I get school credit for the computer, etc.). And the last day I had written in it was 9/11/01. I think I remember doing that in the morning (kind of early) and then watching the buildings fall on CNN.
  11. Looking at this challenge. It isn't an easy one... and thats good. But, it is gonna take time. I have decided to put the deadline at May 31 at 10:00 PM CST. I look forward to seeing your entries.
  12. Ok, that was a nice break guys. Next challenge: You will create your own martial art. Name it, describe it. What it derives from... WHATEVER. Be creative and present it in any way that you wish. You must submit it to me via PM. I will set a deadline for this of May 26 at 10:00 PM CST. Giving you guys some time to work on it. After the deadline, I will post all of these in another thread and members will be able to submit their votes as to what they feel is the best one. The winner gets an Immunity. (If you have any more ideas for challenges, please feel free to PM them to me.) Thanks and good luck!
  13. I think that both of them have their respective points. We have been through this before. Lets not disrespect one way or another.
  14. Kind of strange. He doesn't visit for 6-7 months and then comes back and posts this? I think we already assumed he wasn't coming back. But, at any rate, I don't want to allow this to "fester" (Never used that work before! Yeah! ) so we'll close it. If you want to talk to Josh, his e-mail is on the thread. Thanks.
  15. I have: NES SNES N64 Gamecube Game Boy Advance Sega Genesis ($5 with a few games at a yard sale! Bought so my brother could play Virtual Bart. ) Atari 2600 (Got 4 of them for $2 with a ton of games and stuff. I had played it many times before though.) Lots of good games.
  16. Today, KarateForums.com celebrates one year online. We launched on May 21, 2001. It has been a good year, with a handful of negative things, but mostly all good. We have experienced a level of success that most sites cannot find and it is not just blind luck. It is because of how the forum is run and operated. I would like to thank: Our dedicated users for visiting and helping promote the site. James, the Senseis and the Sempais for their dedication and their attention to detail. One year is a long time on the Internet. Thank you to those of you that have made this fun.
