  1. I think that both of them have their respective points. We have been through this before. Lets not disrespect one way or another.
  2. Kind of strange. He doesn't visit for 6-7 months and then comes back and posts this? I think we already assumed he wasn't coming back. But, at any rate, I don't want to allow this to "fester" (Never used that work before! Yeah! ) so we'll close it. If you want to talk to Josh, his e-mail is on the thread. Thanks.
  3. Touche.
  4. O'Kepe Wiwest Efe N/A of Ibprofen
  5. My name is pretty obvious.
  6. I have: NES SNES N64 Gamecube Game Boy Advance Sega Genesis ($5 with a few games at a yard sale! Bought so my brother could play Virtual Bart. ) Atari 2600 (Got 4 of them for $2 with a ton of games and stuff. I had played it many times before though.) Lots of good games.
  7. Today, KarateForums.com celebrates one year online. We launched on May 21, 2001. It has been a good year, with a handful of negative things, but mostly all good. We have experienced a level of success that most sites cannot find and it is not just blind luck. It is because of how the forum is run and operated. I would like to thank: Our dedicated users for visiting and helping promote the site. James, the Senseis and the Sempais for their dedication and their attention to detail. One year is a long time on the Internet. Thank you to those of you that have made this fun.
  8. Posts do not bring Senseiship.
  9. Hey Gumby, Check your Private Messages.
  10. Why not sign up with a free web host and upload your graphics to them? There are quite a few of them.
  11. The link that you provided: http://www.netsnapshot.com/users/7139/images/POZVqMCoBQIAADVeOlM_7139_7.jpg Is not valid.
  12. I have to admit I was a tad shocked when I saw that but due to recent events I just figured it wasn't worth replying. Didn't want anything really bad said on a thread made for the sake of paying tribute to the deceased.
  13. I think so. But, anyway, here are the players that are still in Survivor: Karateka ZR440 KSN Doug kicker SaiFightsMS YODA
  14. Ok, the votes are in. VOTE 1: SaiFightsMS "I'll vote for Sai, mainly because I closed my eyes and pointed to the screen, and that's who got hit." VOTE 2: jamesdasher "I guess jamesdasher has gotta go. Seemed to want out too by his comments on not doing the quiz." VOTE 3: kicker "My vote is for Kicker. No real reason other than she's Canadian and they won the gold in hockey. Nothing personal." VOTE 4: jamesdasher "Sorry James, I know you didn't play but still." VOTE 5: SaiFightsMS "I vote off SaiFightsMS since she is a good competitor." 2 Votes - SaiFightsMS and jamesdasher 1 Vote - kicker So, now it comes up to my decision. My decision will always be based on who I believe has played the game better overall so far. It is not scientific and I am not perfect. However, I think James will agree that Sai has played the game better than him. He has missed 1-2 events and I would say Sai has played a lot better than he has. Sorry man, but I have to take you off. jamesdasher has been voted off of Survivor. We will have a new challenge up in a couple of days.
  15. Chat starting in 1 hour from now at 4:30 Eastern and then 5 1/2 hours from now at 9 Eastern.
  16. I agree with Sai. I have basic respect for everyone until they give me a reason not to respect them. Then there is a higher level of respect which is earned.
  17. This topic is out of hand, now. So I am going to close it. Just one thing to say. I have said it before - and I will say it again. Anyone that has ever tried to be disrespectful to me or come after me in some way, has cited "other people in hiding." I have come to learn and understand that these people are few and far between, not unimportant, but few and far between.
  18. I think that it didn't matter how much you know, you don't know until its done pretty much.
  19. Bitseach. This thread may be called sexist, I can see how that could be. Racist, no. As for Lecherous: lech - A strong, especially sexual desire or craving. lechery - Excessive indulgence in sexual activity; lewdness. This thread is neither. Threads like this are allowed and will be allowed. Some people may not like them. Some people do. Most people don't care. If this is "lechery" - I'd assume that you never talk about guys with your best girlfriend (I am assuming you are a women)? That would be committing lechery by your definition. This is nothing but a bunch of guys talking about girls and its not really that bad. This thread is just guys talking about which girls they like, etc. Sure, it may not be the most tasteful topic. There are even people saying things like: "All women are beautiful in many ways. When you get older you will see." " I go to a school that has a huge population of Japanese students. From a purely superficial standpoint, Japanese girls seem to be just like any other girls. Some are hot and some are in the middle and some are not so hot. Some people may like them for novelty just as they like girls or guys of a certain ethnicity or whatever." If you don't like it, don't read it. But, do not demand publicly that I or the Senseis do anything to fit your personal whim. We do take suggestions from people on a thread that may need attention, but we do not guarentee that we will agree with that person. You may want to stop reading the General Chat and Serious Discussion all together if you are upset by subjects like this. _________________ Patrick O'Keefe KarateForums.com - Administrator/Grandmaster RIP - Left Eye [ This Message was edited by: Patrick on 2002-05-16 10:01 ]
  20. I took it... You are definitely a woman! 80% Confidence. The chart showed me right in the middle... and like this women man ish creature... How do we know? Well, deep down, your gender affects everything about you, from your favorite number to your views on Canada. Many women who took the test think and act just like you, as you can see from the clusters above. Statistically speaking, you are a chick. I told them they were wrong. lol
  21. Ok, I have tallied the results, and I believe they are correct. Once again, this quiz was created/put together by KickChick. I awarded 1 point per 1 correct answer. Correct answers were answers that followed the question to a T. YODA - 9 Points ZR440 - 6 Points KSN Doug - 6 Points SaiFightsMS - 5 Points Karateka - 4 Points kicker - 2 Points jamesdasher - 0 Points (DNP) Answers: 1. Boxing. 2. Niagara Falls. The rim is worn down about two and a half feet each year because of the millions of gallons of water that rush over it every minute. 3. Asparagus and rhubarb. 4. Baseball. 5. Strawberry. 6. The pear grew inside the bottle. The bottles are placed over pear buds when they are small, and are wired in place on the tree. The bottle is left in place for the whole growing season. When the pears are ripe, they are snipped off at the stems. 7. A few, including Dwarf, dwell, and dwindle. 8. Period, comma, colon, semicolon, dash, hyphen, apostrophe, question mark, exclamation point, quotation marks, brackets, parenthesis, braces, and ellipses. 9. In Minnesota. The team was originally known as the Minneapolis Lakers and kept the name when they moved west. 10. Many. 11. Lettuce. 12. Many So, there you have it. Congrats to YODA! He gets the immunity here meaning you CAN'T vote him off. But, EVERYONE please vote for who you want to be voted off of KarateForums.com Survivor. Please PM me your votes and do not post them here. The deadline for votes will be Friday night at 10:00 PM CST.
  22. Sorry guys, got busy and forgot to do this. I promise, absolutely, that the results will be posted by tomorrow night at 11:00 PM CST! Again, sorry for the delay.
  23. Sitrep? Anyway, went on a trip, thought I'd have net access - didn't. To make a long story short... entries are now closed. Results will be posted Tuesday barring any catastrophes.
