I had bad stomach problems once at a hotel in Dallas that kept me up half the night. I've carried it with me when I travel ever since! Plus it was Dec 31, so not a great way to start the new year!

Wild get one standings point in a 3-2 SO loss to the Devils. Wild are trying to hold of the Blues and hang on to the 7th playoff seed but with how STL has played recently Minnesota is in danger of dropping to the 8th spot and having to face their current biggest rival, Winnipeg, in the opening round. Both teams have not won a playoff series in a while so if the match up one of them will finally advance past the first round. Looks like another first round exit is looming for Minnesota, even if they stay at seven, they would have to face Vegas.

Consumption of energy drinks I think is the biggest reason I have caffeine intolerance. I am now going energy drink free.

It has come to my attention that I am becoming more sensitive to caffeine and am feeling it sick for a bit after I drink it. I mostly drink caffeine after lunch because I feel a drop in energy and usually start to feel sick about 30-60 minutes after I start the caffeine. So I am getting off the caffeine, but would be curious to know what you drink for a pick me up during the day if you are feeling sluggish that is not caffeinated? I have the same problem now with fried chicken, it makes me feel sick to my stomach. I did not have these problems a few years ago, just a sign of getting older I guess.

The final spot in the east is a fight between the Canadians and Rangers, both 77 points, and Columbus is chasing at 75, so are Detroit and the NY Islanders at 74. The more I think about season 6 the less impressed I am by it. Seasons 1-5 were awesome, six was eh. As much as I enjoyed the return of the Karate Kid/Cobra Kai world, I am fine with it being over.

A bit of a risky decision for the Patriots, even though they badly need to improve their offensive Diggs has a history of being a drama creator and is coming off a major injury that kept him sidelined for the second half of the 2024 season. He previously played for the Texans, Bills, and Vikings. The Ravens have reached a three-year contract extension with head coach John Harbaugh. I am not sure if this is correct, but I think he is the second longest running NFL coach with his team behind Mike Tomlin in Pittsburgh. The Ravens are contenders almost every season but have come up short in the playoffs against the Bills and Chiefs the last few years.

Montreal but Detroit, Columbus, and the two NY teams are still in the hunt and any of them could make a run and get in. Chicago, San Jose, and Nashville are the first three teams to be officially eliminated from the 2025 playoffs. The Sabers, Flyers, and Kraken will be eliminated soon also.
