Yes, there was a whole rash of really quite similar programmes and then...nothing! It seems that if you have one reasonably successful show it get imitated to death and then the scene is dead in a year. We could really do with some good MA programming, the BBC have done nothing much since Mind, Body and Kick [rear end] Moves. There was a show where they took some "challenging" youths to China for Shaolin style training but it was identical training every week and it got very boring very quickly. Fortunately TV has run out of cash in the UK so old programmes come around again fairly often. [blimus, the Equus subgenus Asinus gets flagged by the censor but I'm sure you know what I mean by "rear end"] Yeah, I hear you. I wish these idol / talent shows would die already. That has to due were i work so im complete sick of them. I would like some more fight quest if they keep up the diffrent locations and diffrent training. Just look at the Anthony Bordane show is a cooking version of this show. Yet it came first. I wish the martial arts were more popular and was able to keep interesting to keep us all entertained.

I loved all 5 movies personally. Yet the quotes that you posted are really basic for all martial arts in my opinion. Defence only - No room in Martial arts for arrogance - A good way not to get hit is just be out of the range or way.

I personally wear a shirt under my gi and most of my fellow students do to at my dojo. There is a couple who don't though. Mostly up to the individual.

How long...50 years; I've just only scratched the surface...of no particular Kata. They're all still requiring a life time of studying!! That is true that it can get annoying that they talk to the camera yet think of the time it was released. That was the popular thing to do on these kind of shows. I personally like it it makes you feel kind of like you are there right next to them. As for the types of training this seems to have a lot of original type of training like that may have been done before it crossed the ocean type of thing. That's just how I feel about it tho.

My favorite is that being black belt you are undefeatable. My belief is there is always someone that trains better, that has more natural talent, that there body works better.

I have found its on the person not the style. Those taught to be respectful are generally respectful and do not do the my Martial art is better than yours. Those that aren't taught to be respectful do not. I have seen some people in Karate and Taiqwondo ( i really hope i spelled that right). That will do the same as what we say the bjj people do. This is common in big headedness. Back on topic I have found 3 that I like and 1 that I joined. This one seems to be the most active of the 3 that i was watching. Everyone here is very polite and respectful. The other 2 I watch every once in a while yet not everyday like i do this one.

Thank you for providing the full link. The one thing to remember with it is you want to look through the work shop a lot of people have already built and set up everything for you in the mod shop. May favorite so far is they have a Jurassic park game on there that is fun with 3 or more people.

Yep. I need to just change it yet I normally only in my car to go to work, and go to karate class.

Started Karate at 20/21 when a friend invited me. Have been going ever since. I love Karate to the point its on my mind a little more than it should be. I do twitch streaming after work and one weekends. Also working on a geek podcast(need to release some new episodes again). During days spend time with family and working. Currently 3 KYU in Ryo bukai Karate. any one know the ascii for the u?

We are a small class. None of the kids or adults act out in a way that needs to go to that extreme.
