  1. Try the following sites: http://shaolinwushu.tripod.com (my site naturally) http://www.sanshou.com http://www.sanshou.org http://www.sanshou.net http://www.ikfkickboxing.com Good Luck
  2. Laws like this are dependent on where you live. In my experience it is unlikely that a court would convict someone for defending themselves.
  3. Monks practice Shaolin Wushu...there are many "styles" for lack of a better word within. We were fortunate to have two monks stay at our school and train us back in 1996 for three months.
  4. There were no prior requirements noted at all. I have to say that first off it's scary what people will market as a "quailty program". Secondly, I can't believe that anyone can truely understand what would or would not benefit a law enforment officer if they have never done the job, let alone what would be permitted and legally justified.
  5. Check out some of the footage.... at http://shaolinwushu.tripod.com/movies.htm or at their offical webpage http://www.kungfux.com
  6. $35 / month Canadian about $22 U.S.
  7. Can anyone help with hosting space? We now have over 225 megs of san Shou footage... Could easily add another 8 fights if I had the space...
  8. Yes Shaolin has many San Shou champions Shi Yanzi is probably pound for pound one of the best San Shou fighters...
  9. I don't think he makes a living off it... Just does it for the fun...
  10. San Shou (Chinese Full Contact Kickboxing)....why, because I like to fight different styles. You become stale if you stay within the confines of your own school, and to a greater extent style.
  11. Good Martial Arts...good story concept...bad script...too much "philosopy" from Billy Zane's character. Would have been better with more fighting less philosophy...
  12. You can see the results of the San Shou World Championships at: http://shaolinwushu.tripod.com/sanshouresults.htm Albert Pope from th US was the only North American to do well finishing 4th in his division...
  13. It's not your computer....some of the clips are smaller is size to cut down on the size... That's why I don't have any of the Canadia files up... For all the fights I need about 200 megs of hosting space...I'm about 200 short right now.
  14. I've just added all the round to all the fights...now there are eight full fights. Videos are broken down into rounds....over 140 megs of footage. Still looking for free hosting for the 2001 canadian nationals
  15. Here are some clips, they are over a year old, but thought you'd like to see. They require quicktime. http://homepage.mac.com/georgemichael/.Movies/brucelee1.mov http://homepage.mac.com/georgemichael/.Movies/brucelee2.mov

  17. His best movie in my opinion was "Fist of Legend". The martial arts sequences are amazing.
  18. About 5 months now...it's a entertaining way to start with my morning emails... It has taken a while to get a boxer that has done that well....one guy has won over 60% of my total prize money
  19. My fighter just won the Middleweight division title this morning over Mulder and Scully: Middleweights (160 pounds) George "the Dry Cleaner" Jefferson Rank #1 (17-9-1) 13(13) Bio Weight: 160/152 pounds He's helped generate: $4,111,394 total earnings for Lions Den6.
  20. THe new upstart network - "The Extreme Channel" is featuring Muay Thai fights 2 to 3 times a week. The footage is from thailland. It's carried by US and Canadian cable and satellite companies. FYI.
  21. The site is still under construction in parts, including my page. Pages have been completed in order of importance. Ng Ser Kow is complete, as well as Tan Chin Hock.
  22. This is something you should be brining up with your instructor. Bagwork, "rolling" and other techniques will help 'toughen' your shins. You should do this in conjunction with herbal wine (medicine - dit da jow). Even if you train your shins, there can be someone out there with tougher bones naturally. There is no real way to prevent such injuries. But in the case if sparring, wear protective equipment, save your body for the match. If we sparred all the time, we would be in no condition to fight in the ring. Just my 2 cents.
  23. Sek Koh Sam (48th Generation, Abbot of Shaolin Temple Singapore)--> Ng Ser Kow --> Tan Chin Hock--->Me
  24. Army of darkness Face Off Fight Club The Crow Clerks Chasing Amy Mallrats Drunken Master II Dusk Til Dawn fist of legend
