I just found out that there is a Polish karate style- Karate do Tsunami. Although by the look of their technicues and kata performances on youtube it's most likely a McDojo. The founder Ryszard Murat had 7kyu in Kyokushin, and then established this style giving himself the rank of 10dan. here is the style site http://www.karatetsunami.eu/en/index.php and the mos funny videos on youtube Any thoughts?

Do uraken uchi, turn by your left shoulder and do mae geri, and gyaku tsuki.
-
I think if someone attends a mcdojo but wants to learn martial arts and practices in home a lot he can became really strong
-
In the school I attend to we also learn katas that are ahead of our rank. For example last time I was grading I needed to know heian nidan, and I already knew godan
-
And we only use Osu to say yes or I understand, but not for greeting and anything else
-
I remember when before I heard about karate, makiwara and stuff I practiced my punches on wall in my room
-
Good luck, I'm sure you'll have lot of fun training
-
What other equipment can you do by yourself? Any good ideas?
-
Well basically all my training equipment is home made. I only bought a heavy bag, because all those I mede didnt last long:)
-
Hi, does anyone know how to make some useful equipment for training? I come up with idea how to make a grappling doll, I'm going to sew together socks, pants, blouse, gloves and hat and stuff it with rags. What do you think?

And also mayby by learning this kick you will easier learn other things, or it can be simply good for training. -
I always wear seat belts, its the first thing I do after geting into a car. They can realy save your life, I unfortunatelly tested it.
-
Why dont you learn from him both jujitsu and karate but grade only in jujitsu. You would at least be graded in one art, but still know both.
-
Taiikuka is right, most people think that bjj/muay thai is best for mma, and basically best for everything, but there are so many other martial arts that would do their job in the ufc.
-
I'm not sure but he would have to be under some certified organization if you want those belt to be recognized worldwide. Also I'm not sure if its a rule or something but in the club I train in my sensei never examine us, there always another.
-
If I were you I would go see how they practice (most dojos allow you to watch, and some even give you a free lesson). You can also ask the people in the dojo what do they think of this club, about sensei, and just check if they are nice. Also you can check their websit (if there is one) or find some info about your sensei on google It all depends on what you expect to find in the dojo.

Firstly try some ice and painkillers for now, and if the hand keep hurting go visit a doctor. Secondly, how do you train your punches? and which joint exactly is hurting?

What is the reason why you joined the Martial Arts?
Nevinyrral replied to Adonis's topic in General Martial Arts Discussion
I wanted to be stronger, get in shape, and become beter fighter, so I'd know for myself that I could go one one one with random guy and hold my own. -
I like to listen to music while training at home. I just start internet radio, and listen to random music. I do it postly because I dont like when it's silent in my room (beating sand bag doesnt count as sound for me)

Hi, I'm looking for some martial arts novels, not instructional books, but some mayby adventure novels or something like than.

Train hard, and dont mind those videos your friend shows you. It all depends how much and how hard you train. I can tell you what once happened to me: my friend with some bjj training was grappling with his friends during PE lesson in school, so I asked if I could join( I had then a little kung fu training) so he agreed and we began to wrestle( no strikes) and he couldnt seal any technicue he used, as I was quite flexible those day(not anymore). So it ended in draw. SO you need to belive in yourself, and remember training is the one thing that wont betray you. And check this video
