I’ve never been someone who drank any type of energy drinks. I was a huge coffee drinker until I was diagnosed with Afib in 2018. People with Afib should never drink coffee/energy drinks!! So, I've obeyed my doctors advice ever since and my crave for a cup of coffee has finally been kicked to the curb. My cup of coffee would always be fully loaded: coffee creamer and sugar!! I’d drink a coffee makers worth every morning for decades. The American Health Association notes that Energy drinks contain high levels of caffeine, which can contribute to cardiac complications like Afib. Caffeine can also make symptoms like palpitations worse for some people. Energy drinks contain more sugar than soda or juice, and too much sugar can increase the risk of Afib. Artificial sweeteners can also increase the risk of Afib for those who don’t have Afib. Energy drinks can trigger Afib. Afib is something that stays with you for the rest of your life. I had a cardiac inversion procedure performed on me in 2019, it’s where they shock your heart back into rhythm. My procedure only lasted 6 months!! That bummed me out!! My cardiologist refused to do that procedure again, kind of a one-time thing, so the doctor told me that I’d have to live with it and take my Eliquis 2 times a day.

Congrats pandaGIRL; well deserved!! -
Has anyone seen this on Netflix?? My wife and I have just finished watching Squid Games season 2. It has 7 episodes. New characters as well as a few returning characters. The theme is that the one who won in season 1 wants to shut the game down. After Red Light, Green Light all of the games played are different all together. Some rules have changed, there’s an uprising, and there’s a surprise character, which I won’t spoil for those haven’t seen the new season. There will be a final season 3 in 2025!! My wife and I suspected that because of where the games that were last finished, 3 games, by the 7th episode. The Red Light, Green Light girl robot has a new friend.

I use to walk a ton of a lot but since my cancer attacked my T12 and L4, my walking days are behind me with the exception of the very few I do at home.

I imagine so that person can just slap on the belt without first lining up the embroidery to make sure that they face outward. Don’t think that I’ve ever seen a belt with 4-sided embroidery, just on 2 sides.

A little pricey for me, if I’m looking at the right shoe, that is; I looked them up too. Looked just like a tennis shoe to me.

Well, well, well!! To the victor belongs the spoils. The Raiders finally snapped their losing streak, 10 games stro, and they did it at home against the Jaguars with a final score of 14-19. Both teams share similar records of 3-12. Jaguars drew blood first, but the Raiders became victorious in their back and forth game. My wife was blessed that the Raiders ended their downhill run with a win.

I wholeheartedly agree with you!! Raiders might as well implode against the Jaguars this Sunday because it’s destined to be that way the way they’ve been playing this season!! I see a Jaguars win this Sunday!! My poor wife!!

Are my Knights trying to play some hockey or what!!?? Maybe they can go back to the Stanley Cup again this year?!?! GO KNIGHTS!! -
Nope!! Might appear that way for some but I don’t think boxing is dying at all!! It does seem that boxing needs a shot in the arm of excitement, like it recently had with the Logan VS Tyson fight, even though that fight didn’t live up to its hype. True blue boxing fans will still fill the seats while the others might not fill the seats. Boxing isn’t going anywhere!!

Not sure if that monitor can be worn during sparring because the darn thing will flop all around and the sensors might fall off you, if your heart monitor is anything like the ones I’ve worn. I guess you could wrap an ace bandage around your body to include the monitor and 3 sensors in order to keep everything securely to your body. Don’t know how the monitor would react to being hit during sparring. I suppose nothing ventured nothing gained. Perhaps some light sparring without the need for the intensity; concentrating on technique. Get your doctor to approve you sparring while wearing your heart monitor because the reasons for wearing the monitor might not allow vigorous activity. My doctor told me to not do any sparring at all and each time I wore a heart monitor I wore it for 24 hours, not so bad, but the 72 hours drove me crazy!! Just talk to your doctor first before you start doing any sparring!!

Welcome to KF, pandaGIRL; glad you’re here!! Great advice so far!! The MA was never supposed to be a walk in the park with roses and flowers. If the MA was easy, everyone would be doing. Sure, some students acclimate to MA training easier than others but all have one thing in common…TIME!! The fear of the unknown of the floor is a real thing. Take one day at a time!! You’re supposed to be terrible UNTIL you’re not. Everything and anything is overwhelming whenever it’s new!! Every CI will tell you “Practice makes perfect” and that’s no exasperation!! As already mentioned, the MA should be taken in baby steps. No exceptions!! Believe in yourself totally!! What are you real good at outside of the MA?? Think back to that time when you were terrible at that and thought you’d never get it. But now, in time, you worked through it all and now, you’re pretty darn good at it now. That same thing will happen again but only in time. In the MA, every technique, no matter how small, has to mature and that maturity takes time so be patient across the board. You got this!!

Congrats to the winners of this year’s KF Awards; well deserved to all!! Until next year’s awards!! -
Raiders having lost 10 straight games in a row, can now go for 11 straight in a row this Sunday at home against the Panthers. Their MNF at home game only had one nice element to it and that was the ZZ Top Halftime Show. The Raiders game play can be summed up in 2 words…NO EFFORT!!

Packers had no problem with the Seahawks!! They’ve the Vikings next! Their remaining schedule is tough, ending with the Rams. Playoffs for the Seahawks might not be happening. My friend, Dwight, who’s a big Seahawks fan was beside himself with how ineffective his Seahawks were tonight!! He hates my Cowboys and we’re constantly making fun of each others team’s misery!! GO COWBOYS!!

To my knowledge a lot of tailors and seamstresses do embroidery. Cost might depend on how detailed and if they can do Hang Gul lettering!! I hope you can find what you’re looking for!!

In that regards, being a Master Instructor is a more acceptable label as opposed to being labeled as a Master of the MA. What’s the difference of those two?? Plenty, I assure you. One is a fact and one is an assumption. Not all black belts can teach and no one is a Master of the MA; both are discovered once on the floor.

I must’ve been living under a rock to have never heard of CarJitsu let alone them having a Championship events. I saw CarJitsu Championship this morning while surfing on my TV on the Stadium Stream Channel. Here’s what I know about this unusual and unique sport… Carjitsu is a competitive grappling sport that takes place inside a vehicle. The sport was created by Vik Mikheev, a Russian graduate student at Kansas State University who is a black belt in Brazilian jiujitsu and judo. The goal of the sport is to submit your opponent by choking them or forcing them to extend a limb. If the match is too close, points are awarded for dominant positions, such as back control or top position. Combatants appear to be from varying grappling experiences and backgrounds. Matches are 3 minutes long and 1 round. The car they grapple in is a Toyota Sienna. Poor car takes a beating as well. Makes a lot of sense because one never knows when they’ll have to defend themselves inside of a car. The network seems to be PLN, Pro League Network. Has anyone been following this sport and if so perhaps can give us more information and details.

News on Wednesday, Bill Belichick has been hired as the next Head Coach of the UNC Tar Heels. Belichick agreed to a five-year deal, pending administration approval. Previous coach Mack Brown was paid $5 million per season. Per The Athletic, he’s signed to a $50 million contract. Can Belichick fix UNC tarnished history??
