  2. ah this brings back memories, I had to do this in my first kobduo class, that is strike myself. You learn really quick how much weapons hurt. This lesson alone hightens your awareness dramatically
  3. hmm, this has got me thinking. If I recall the Kobudo came into development in response to the japanese rule over okinawa, not as a defense to it. Therefore one could conclude that prior to the invsaion by japan, there was no kobudo. I am not sure of my understanding on this, perhaps tobias or someone else can offer their take on this

  8. I have very limited know about it, perhaps you could tell us a little more about it. I believe it was a style created by the isreali government to help train their army, or something to that effect, very intriguing. I much like to learn more about the style if you'd be willing to talk about it

  12. hmmm this could be a though one as my knowledge of different arts is so limited...... 10. Kobudo (although not the most complete art as it only pratices weapons, it has a rich history and maintains a pratical relavence in today's society.) 9. kendo, the grace and swiftfulness of their sword, always blows my mind:) 8. Mauy Thai kickboxing, The amazing speed and technique these people have make them very powerful and worthy oppenants 7. BJJ- an art whose complex locks and graps astonish many, including myself 6. Judo a traditional art which a survived difficult times and still amazes me with it's remarkable throws. 5. Tai chi/Nei Chi etc. The soft flowing arts filled with lifetimes of knowledge and the secrets to longevity 4. Ninjitsu (a balenced art containing many different elements of training) 3.Kung Fu (Not to sure when it somes to specfic styles) An art filled with magistic and graceful movements that are ever so powerful, incredable 2. Akido/Iaido Two arts the complement each other wonderfully, true amazing 1. Goju Ryu Karate-do (my style and my life)
