Mixing tech is good cause the ultimate goal in Martial arts is to develop your own style or basically what works for you i personally encourage it cause youll have more knowlage and be able to defend from a multitude of things (it help me when a bjj grappler came into our dojo and i was able to stop him)

  9. Thats a common misconception ninjutsu wasnt just about sneaking behind and killing someone it was really a total selfdefense against Samurai and it in its self was more of a philosophy mostly about non violence and like i said before most ninja were samurai and also like i said before Taijutsu is very Kung fu like in its movements cause it has it traces all the way back to Shoalin Kung fu

  16. They were in fact very good fighters because they had to defend themselves from Samurai yes they did do intellegence and counter intellegence but so did most samurai in fact most samurai were ninja alot of the so called information that said ninja cant fight was from Samurai who thught the way they fight was un honorable i already had this dicussion with some one on this forum i forgot which topic it was when i find it ill post it
  17. Actually "Ninjutsu" is a very good art for self defense, in fact most of the Special Forces CQC is based on taijutsu alot of people have the wrong concept of taijutsu that its just an assaination art which is wrong we are trained in fact for street fighting and in comparison of Kung fu and taijutsu its hard because in application alot of the techs are very kungfu like and in fact it has traces to be developed from kung fu both in my opinion are very good at self defense its up to the practioner
  18. i was really hoping that this post would end the fact of the matter is you shouldnt do the kuji if 1 you dont have proper training in it and 2. Out of respect of other religions the kuji are buhddist and shinto i was told so by buhddist and shinto practioners. also zanshin doent have one set meaning cause thats the way Japanese as a language is zanshin doest mean going to a criticle point and have the instinct to survive but it can also have additional meanings
