enter the ninja is actually a fan site where some of the info is true alot of it is myth (except the golfers comment) nunchucks, tonfas, sais are karate weapons and yes there are 3 ligiment styles of Ninjutsu Bujinkan, Genbukan, and Jinekan they are historically proven at that by the japanese government

personally i think kata is a foundation in which you build your teachs with and then you are suppose to build upon and expand them for your own use and figure out how they suit you best

Do Black-Belts have to register themselves as weapons
Anbu Alex replied to chiflow's topic in General Martial Arts Discussion
i just found out in New York unless you are out numbered or threathened by a weapon a Black Belt is allowed to defend himself but in a one on one situation you have to be carful because you are considered not as a weapon but (cant think of the werd) you are trained citizen and not considered a civilian so you have to use minimal force against the single opponet -
I dont study iado per say but it is apart of the Bujinkan curriculum also with Kenjutsu, and ninpo Biken i was studying it for a month strait (since we swich weapons all the time)

LOL i agree online there is no way to learn unless you have someone to practice with you will never ever know if your doing it right or if the technique even work or worst yet if you can even apply it to it feels like your friend is trying to discredit martial arts there are so many things in all martial arts that no computer can come close to providing
