  1. Yeah, last year at a local CKA comptition. The guy was studying Okinawan Karate, at the time but he has had prior Ninjitsu training. Unfortunately he beat me out by 2 points. (2 out of 5). He was just a little quicker then me. Oh well, we learned much from the fight. I cheered him on, in the next few rounds. He took second for the weight/rank division. MonkeyNinja
  2. At some of the Krav Maga schools they have short term classes (a few weeks or so), seminars, etc. At least this is to my understanding. I suggest writting them a letter. Explain your situation, and see what they can do. MonkeyNinja
  3. Mmmm. 6 pages of messages on ninjitsu? You all just did exactly what US ninjas love to do! Distill confusion among the masses. Look at yourselves argueing over the history of ninjas. Differnce between shinobus and ninjas. I almost fell of my tree branch laughing sooo hard!
  4. Our foreign policies are, well seem to be really complex. Yet, they are neseccary, for us to have allies. Just as long as we don't styep on the wrong toes. We have done that way too much as well. In my honest opinion we need to take care of our own peole before we send billions of dollars to foerign aid. MonkeyNinja
  5. To all, Please forgive my brashness last night. There has been way too many people making threats towards my Grandmaster. When that happens, even if it may be just passing comment, I tend to turn into a huge Guard-Dog. There has evenbeen numerous death threats aginst him. He is like a big brother to me, and I can and will defend him. The same goes for my young students. Ninjitsu is all too often misunderstood, and hundreds, upon thousands arguements have came up all over the world. In numerous places(chat rooms, bars, schools, etc.) Again, I apologize for defensiveness. But I will not allow anyone, if and when I can , to make such comments that was made. I stated my case. I may be wrong, on some things. For even though I do have a blackbelt, I'm STILL A STUDENT! Well, my fellow monkeys are hooting for me. You all have great night. Keep studying taikubo-do. Hopefully one day you and I can sit done have a cup of latte' and a calzone. And we can come to meeting of minds, perhaps we can learn much from other. Or at worst, we can agree to disagree. 6. Getting a tattoo, would be cool! I am going to be getting a special tattoo representing my school and style of fighting. If you really want to get a blackbelt tattooed on your body. How about gewtting a tiger or dragon, heck even a cool lizard with a blackbelt on the creature or incorporated some how in the tattoo. Just an idea. Live free, Die well MonkeyNinja
  7. To all you morons out there. I have one thing to say: You can't fight what you can't see! Out of respect to the younger viewers and to the nice people who put up this website, I will refrain from chewing you out, or cussing at you. But I will state the following factual things. So XPoison Freex, you can make your own judgements. The Bujikan style is great. Grandmaster Dr. Masaaski Hatsumi is a cool guy and is fantastic teacher! This style is based from the Iga-ryu ninjitsu from the Iga province in southern Japan. Ninja's and Kinochi's(female ninjas) and Shinobi's are one and the same. Most people can become a ninja. Being ninja does NOT mean that you have to kill someone! Ninja skills include but not limited to theivery, medical skills(surgeons, paramedics, nursing, etc.), espionage(spying), as well as training groups in which to overthrow their gov'ts. when deemed neseccary. Many groups/orgizations such as the CIA, DEA, NSA, and even our own military has ninjas. They are known as special forces(Recon Blue, Seals, Delta Force, Etc.) Yes, the Yakuza has been known to use individuals with ninja skills. But as a ninja we do piece work. We do our job in silence, report back to our "boss", and go back to living our normal lives. To Taikubo-do: Making such a threat or even mentioning the fact that someone hasn't tried to kill my Grandmaster is foolish. And even could get you seriously hurt. This not a threat, nor a challenge. It is a WARNING!!! Watch your tongue. For people have been humbled many times before in the past from such foolish statements. Who am I really? I am a Ninja. I heal when neseccary, harm when put in a defensive postion. And I will kill if I have no other option. My skills are unqiue in that I combine Monkey Kung-Fu, Muay Thai, and Koga-ryu ninjitsu, in my style. I would rather teach you all, then to fight with you. For I am a peaceful warrior. And I will die peacefully regardless of what I have done in my life. For my body is a deadly weapon. But my spirit is free, and I love to play and swing in the trees. Still need proof? Check this out: Here are my certs. and rankings: 3rd Dg. Blackbelt Black Dragon Ninjitsu 2nd Dg. Nin Tai Vate Jitsu Certified in Tai Chi Ch'uan Captain in Black Dragon Fighting Society A member of the Black Dragon Ninja Society Staff Seargent in the Black Berets Paramilitary Unit. To Poison, If you really want to learn, e-mail me. And I will have an agent contact you for seminars, books, videos, and possible hands on training. Live free, Die Well MonkeyNinja
  8. Could I handle a knife fight? Probably. Will I get cut? Guaranteed. Many who posted about the movies guys, are right. They are stuntmen, and it is a choreographic fight. In the real world. The absolute best way to come out alive is walk away or use a ninja invisibilty trick to vanish. However if I have no choice but to fight. I will fight and I WILL break his/her bones. Yeah I may need stitches/medical help. But, I am confident enough that I will come out alive. Some say that their system/dojo don't teach knife defense till later in the training. Well this saddens me greatly. Too many students don't finish their training, for a variety of reasons. All too often these same students can think they take on he world. Their confidence is good but FOOLISH!!! If you feel that you are not getting enough or proper knife/ gun defense training. Check out another school or (as we do) find supplemental training, that specifies in such training. Videos, books, cd-rom, etc. Also, be sure to get lots, and lots of hours in training with a knife of varying sizes, and gun usage. Not to toot my own horn. It sounds terrible! But in my school, we teach knife/gun defense, at green belt. And at brown belt we do LIVE FIRE scenarios. We have qualified instructors/ and on occassions we have ex-police, or ex-military personnel to aid in our training/ teachings. Live Free, Die Well, MonkeyNinja P.s. I seen the "Scorpion King" last night. It was totally COOL!!
  9. Hey, thanks guys for the advice. Maybe that's why I bobed my last 2 fight tourneys. I guess I was way TOOOO tense MonkeyNinja
  10. I may be wrong about the orginal post. But I think that they was refering to a tourney fight. If that is what you are refering to. Don't feel bad it's quite natural. A street fight on the other hand. Well, ascessing the situation is where a fight or flight idea happens I think. (as the others) was talking about. Think about it, would you fight a person in a high crime area, that is full of gang-members? Especially if you are alone. I think the best is to avoid that type of situation all together. If you have to enter a rough area for what ever reason, get through it as quickly as possible. Hey Kickchick, I ought to show how to swing thru the trees with yor hand and feet. NO ROPE NEEDED!!! I have down a zip-line before. They are sooo much fun. Next time try doing it backwards! Its really scary. Live Free, Die Well MonkeyNinja
  11. It seems to me that a lot of this paper political stuff happens. It saddens me greatly!! What does a piece of paper really do? It looks pretty on the wall and can be burned for heat, but that's it. In my school we give out certs and belts for their ranks. But when it comes time to teach we have to get permssion from my Sifu, and Grandmaster! I think that is the way it supposed to happen. This is just my opinion, though. MonkeyNinja
  12. Dear MonkeyNinja, I'm sorry I haven't written earlier. My computer fried on me, so I'm having to use my instructors computer. We are still working on your video. We got it started, but it will take a while, due to the fact that the video will be a little over an hour long. BlackCat(my instructor) says hello!!! Since my MSN e-mail is shot here is my other one: MonkeyNinja@kravmaga.com or MonkeyNinja@kickboxing.com.
  13. Does anyone know what system/style that the 16-point form belongs to? Or is it a style of it's own? Any and all info would be greatly appreciated!! MonkeyNinja
  14. With all that is going out there with kids these days, the killings don't surprise me at all. Yeah grant it is sad that the tragic events had to happen before society opened up their eyes. But now it is even more sad that people are tring to find a scapegoat. Some blame the parents. It may partially their fault. But that can be debated, for the kids,as we are was and some still are cannot or will not tell what is really going on in school. I know I didn't tell my parents about all the bullying that happened to me in school. Some can blame the teachers, but they can only do so much. Detention and suspending a student can at times make the whole situation worse. I knew of a kid who actually called the police department on a kid who was bullying him. The bully got put in juve'. And the victim was branded as wuss and as a narc. He lost all of his friends, his grades went down, and eventually he had to different school! Some can even blame the gun producers. How it can it be there fault. They just make the guns. Not put it in kids hands. I was taught firearm safety, and shot several guns when I was very young. I learned to respect the power of the weapon and what it could do. There are no easy solutions to this problem. Nor can I say there ever will be. Do we sit back and do nothing? Of course not. Society in general does it all the time with terrorism, drugs, etc. They claim they are making real progress? Hardly. I wish I had an answer to this problem right now but I don't. Give me time and maybe I can think of something. I'll post my ideas, theories when they come to me. MonkeyNinja
  15. In my particular school we use only five belts. White Yellow Green Brown Black After we hit 1stdeg. we can wear whatever color or style of belt we wish. It really throws people off!! MonkeNinja
  16. I totally agree with you!! Especially with the comptitions. I did a point tourney up in Denver. And I was expecting to be coming home with some serious bruises. I did lose, but I felt no pain at all!! The guy merely tapped me and he got the point(s). I have heard a lot of people complaining that these tourneys are getting to watered down. If we "Americans" were to fight like that in Japan or Thailand we end up in the hospital! As far as kids with blackbelts go? I can't give a real opinion on that. I do believe though that many kids do not deserve it. I have even heard that a kid as young as 4ys. old got his blackbelt!! No joke. I think it was in TKD. Now as an instructor, I will not allow any student, regardless of age to be promoted till he/she can do all the techniques required, and do them effectively. Especially against a bigger oppenent. We only use a cup, and sometimes ,gloves and headgear. but that is it! no shin guards, mouthpieces are used on occasion. But our system is 70percent combat, 27 percent evasion. The only katas we learn/teach is a basic staff kata, and kata dante. We do use belts but it is more for tournements then as a ranking system. In my system no one can get their cerificate in ninjistu till they are 18yrs. old. MonkeyNinja
  17. A few weeks ago, a fellow warrior of mine fought in a NHB fight, in Canon City. He lost miserably, even got his nose broke. He tells me every time we go into a fight we are to learn something from it. He CLAIMS that his oppenent was doped up on E.P.O., testosterone, or even steroids. He even went as far, as saying that his oppenent was genetically inhanced. He claims that he did everything right. Well, if he did do everything right then why did he lose? His oppenent was obvilously stronger, faster, and maybe even had better techinques then him. He seems to be blind. I was taught in the very beginning of my training that there will always be somebody who is stronger, and faster then me. So why can't get this guy just get it thru his head that he lost fair and square. Take his loses and go on with his life. He asked what lesson was he supposed to learn from the fight. I told him it was simple. HUMBLENESS!! Your oppenent humbled you badly. He states that he is humble, but yet weeks later his nose is healing nicely, but his ego is still bruised. I find it somewhat strange that this person has never won a first place trophy in regular martial arts compititions. Has won 2 Nhb fights, but still cannot be humble. Now me, I have won a couple of first place trophies, but I have also came in dead last. Did I learn a lesson from his fight? You bet! Will others learn from all this? I hope so!! MonkeyNInjaundefined
