  12. Zauriel:Philippines has hundreds of different languages such as Tagalog, Ilocano, Cebuano, Bicol, Visayan, and dialects but you forget that Philippines had used to been a Spanish colony for 300 centuries. So many (two-thirds) of the words in our Philippine languages were borrowed straight from Spanish language. The name Eskrima is the Filipino spelling which comes from the Spanish word esgrima, "fencing". Arnis is derived from the phrase arnés de mano, Spanish for "harness of the hand". so does anybody overthere speak spanish?
  13. lol, this happens in a lot of threads anyways,so I guess if we did that then this website would get way bigger.
  14. has anybody here ever taken creatine for a long time?Long enough to say what happened to their body if anything

  16. are these workouts geared for bodybuilders only?
  17. well I know that creatine can become creatinine if you let it sit for a long time, but I don't know how it turns formaldehyde
  18. ohh ok.Also a side question, what language do they spaek in the Philipenes?Because whenever I look at escrima stuff, peoples names, and whatever is philipino, it all looks like my native spanish language.
  19. does arnis have nunchaku?
  20. what do you mean?
  21. how do you use capoeria and wrestling in K-1?And who were these guys?
  22. Well all supplements have their issues,so that's why I would only recomend protein powders or amino acids.Protein powder is pretty much the byproduct of making milk or cheese(I forget wich one) so it really doesn't do harm unless taken in excesively large quantities. As for amino acids I think theyre great too because your body already gets them ,but you can get more in supplement form.Just don't overdoit with amino acids as well.
  23. well both sport and traditional/historical pankration are pretty much mma,but both are arts. It's just that the old school pankration is nastier on your opponent.
  24. well yeah, that's how it is with anything, but you still have to know your limits.
