  1. well lets say he had those 50lb dumbells. He would use those for a full body workout, and lets say it was heavy enough to stimulate his upper body to grow muscle, but for his lower body after a while it will just become an endurance exercise. The same goes for his upperbody, after a while he will grow enough muscle to be only lifting for endurance with that pair. That's why I'm saying he needs more than just a pair of dumbells.
  2. well at least you got away safe, but you never know, they might see you again and have more than just a pair of nunchucks.
  3. gotcha,sounds like a good job.

  6. well a lot of wrestlers practice other grappling styles like brazilian ju-jutsu to help them out.
  7. hey some time ago I read an article in either Kung-Fu/Tai chi magazine or Inside Kung-Fu magazine. In it there was article about a brother and sister duo that did full contact matches with Tai chi.So tht does prove that there are few Tai chi people that train to fight.
  8. well I guess the reason they train bareknuckle is so they get used to fighting like that and to condition
  9. well the crossover thing is true.Back when I was in high school a lot of the breakdancers liked to do capoeira and Northern Shaolin Kung-Fu
  10. well let's just guess he has 50lb dumbbells, after a while he will outgrow that weight and need something heavier.

  15. well even though you put on extra water weight ,you pretty much pee it out later on.I'm not sure about doing it while practicing martial arts unless your class has a lot of water breaks. One more thing,Fairfax_Uechi was right on target. When buying creatine, buy the powder from, the other forms are pretty useless, and don't go for the overpriced creatine.
  16. well girls tend to be more flexible than guys for the most part.
  17. sounds like youre a Goju Ryu practitioner also,am I right?
  18. that doesn't surprise me,isn't there a lot of kyokushin guys in K-1 kickboxing thing?
  19. creatine is one of the few supplements that actually backs up what it sells and has a few side effects. When youre using creatine you need to take it everyday(I think before and after you work out,not sure)and stay hydrated.Because if you don't you get dehydrated, get cramps, and I think muscle tears. Also like the other guys mentioned , don't buy the overpriced stuff, creatine monohydrate is the same however it is packaged.
  20. well you could do all the upper and lower body exercises with dumbells, but you wouldn't really build much muscle or strength.
  21. ummm,I guess you could.I knew this one girl that could put her leg in that position.
  22. well theres a few people here that don't practice any martial arts, but they come here to learn from us.So when the time comes they can see what's right for them.
  23. american jails have a martial art program,or he just learned it from some other prisoner?
