  9. Ok.. So you need training tips , right ?? If so then I understand from what you have mentioned in your original post that you are not that good in standup fighting , work more on the bag start with 2 minutes drills and then constantly increase the time . One thing I find useful to increase stamina is to run 480 meters 5 times per day ( actually I do 13 ) find a partner to spare with , work on one and only one combination of moves , and finally ask your instructor on what to do If you feel more comfortable on the ground , train to keep the fight there ( train more on takedowns )

  15. Typical Muay Thai session I train regularly in kyokushin 4 days/week , hour & half --> 2 hours/day . We start with worm ups 15 minutes , stretching 15 minutes , push ups , sit ups , press ups and then the real training starts the instructor //* That would be me *// gives combinations of techniques to do on air , usually we start with punches and low kicks and we end up with punches & high kicks , then we do the same techniques with a partner with and without pads , sparring , bag work , full contact sparring and/or kata
  16. Everyone learns from his mistakes , I mean , no matter what the result is winning or loosing , when the tournament is over , YOU must evaluate yourself , how you fought & the mistakes you made to work on avoiding them in the future . Generally , first tournaments are fear killers , and they serve as a strting point , not this thread OSU
  17. Depends on the art and the instructor , nothing more to say
  18. Karate stances are effective for karate-kas only , it takes years for a karate-ka to master his stances , you do not expect from a wrestler to spend years in stance training that may or may not work
  19. Hehehehe.... Well then he just had to say it
