I would like to train kyokushin under Oyama Sosai . If I am to choose a non karate-ka instructor , i'd go with O-Sensei or Kimura

You do not expect to defend against something that you know nothing about it , if you want to beat them then you must learn their ways . BJJ guys are trained to beat professional strikers , are you trained to beat professional grapplers ??

RUN ?? Karate teaches you to RUN , am sorry but I think karate teaches you to avoid conflicts at all costs but if they happen I am not going to run away neither would my instructor and my fellow training partners

Yeah thats right. look at rocky 4 usa vs russia. after drago kills apollo rocky challanges him to fight for revenge and it has to on the russians terms. then rocky trains in the snow lifting rocks and chopping wood and using all these old skool traing methods and drago is in the warm gym with all the latest equipment and it even shows him using steroids. wow i dont know how they could have made the russians look any worse. Yeah , Rocky 4 dosen't make any sense
