  1. what if is there nothing after death ?? what if we only turn onto ashes , who knows , after all , no one has ever died and returned to tell the tale
  2. Well .. a 12 years old is not physically and intellectually able compared to an 18 years old .. but comparable to ppl from his age , he should be way advanced according to his 5 years of training , any way ... it's best to seperate sessions , 16+ , and 16 - ....
  3. so it unfortunately doesn't get the publicity like full contact, non-stop olympic style sparring does first i have never seen a non-stop TKD match before ... it just seems like the opponenents wait each other for more than 15 seconds before someone starts an assult .... and it's true that u must hit hard so the point counts , but after all your opponent is wearing protective "shield" .. so i don't think that TKD is really a full contact style , at least , not the way you described it , in hard contact styles like Mhuai tai or kyokushinkai , you must not only learn how to hit hard , but also to recive hard hits ..
  4. That point you mentioned smr is totally wrong ... i don't think that someone who deserve to be a black belt , must be holded by his age , after all , it's not the age that matters .. plus , that may help that 'kid' to build his confidence ...
  5. i don't get it , why you hate Kyokushin that much ??? ur the only one that ever hated it like that .. personnally i think that KK is the best but respect other styles !!!!
  6. your welcomed Meguro !!!!! I enjoyed reading your post " Dark Shogun ".. cause your the only one that ever aggreid with me thal real Kata is not about competition kata .. it's about performing kata the best you can , and giving a \\* piece of your spirit while doing so *\\ .. that might help a lot in building fighting spirit ..
  7. i TOTALLY agree with Meguro .. the thing that all people underesteamate is what he said : " fear, fatigue and pain have drained you of your skills " and thats exactlly like in street fight , all of these elements exist .. and more .. that dosn't mean that training might prepare you 100% to a street situation , i am saying that hard contact style resume much of the elements in street fight.... by the way , grappling is important as well , but WHY in hell must i let any one grapple me ???? well if he managed to do that , i'll use my aikido skillz ,lol....
  8. I guess that fat we're talkin about is the fat arround the waist and belly .. it will sure offer some protection , by the way i once gained about 20 pounds in 1 month , hell , it was dicusting , any way it gives you more protection against thinner guys , but i had much trouble defeating simillar guys , and that was in a tournament , not street fight , figure it out .... SUB
  9. Okay , i don't think there are two persons in the world that argue about the weakness areas in human body , and true , no one can condition those areas , i never said anything about that , in the other hand , and from the few street fights i saw , 90 % of the attackers will not consider attacking you in the neck or other " squishi area " , they just want to hit you as hard as possible and in any way possible . plus , who told you that they don't practice grappleing techniques ???
  10. Kyokushin knockdown tournaments still limit one to the bludgoning of only a few targets. Now don't get me wrong, hard contact fighters (kyokushin, MT etc) are great at hitting hard and taking hard hits. But it seems to me that they are limited to this. is street fight else then hitting hard and traying to avoid taking hits as much as possible ????? plus : fighters of schools like MT and kyokusihn who are used to take hard hits have a better chance in "enduring hits" in street fight ...... don't you think ???
  11. AnonymousOne.. Chidokan sounds interresting , i just wanted to know more about the competitions , the rules that control a fight in it , can u explain more bout that ??
  12. the ultimate martial arts is kyukoshin , you van tell from it's name
  13. I agree that there are ' better styles than others ' .. thats almost abvious , about the example you made , the only reason that a boxer can easly defeat a TKD fighter is the fact that the TKD will have much trouble garding his face while the boxer won't , i am not here to anlyze the two styles , any way it's true that some styles have points of weakness , or ..mm incomplete..right??
  14. Well that depends from one fighter to the other , but still , hard training is most required ..
  15. i didn't understoud the topic posted by yamesu ..... correct me if i am wrong , you are saying that kyokushin dosn't follow the instruction of sosai ???
  16. when this forum turned to be on kata ?? it's supposed to be on kyokushin !!!!!!
