I've never had to use them, then again I haven't had to fight that much, but I could see them working in some situations.

I don't plan to quit San Soo, I just thought Tai Chi may compliment it...I could be way off though

Anyone train under Jimmy H. Woo? If so, please share your experiances with us. I've heard many stories about him and all of them are very encouraging. Also has your master told you any stories about him? Thanks

You don't know how to fall Fowards or backwards correctly? How does your sensai deal with liability? Or are still a young belt? Just curious...

I wear a lightweight GI with a T-shirt underneath, that seemed to make it less bothersome for me when my GI would open up. Otherwise I don't have to worry about it too much

If I had to throw my mildly educated guess out (I've read 3 of his books and one about Bruce...), I would say that the contraversy lies in the way people practice JKD...It sounds as iff people are missing the point...(not saying you are...but it is a considered possibility) Isn't JKD just concepts and philosophy? People talk about it as if it has form...thats not what bruces writings indicate...Wasn't he trying to press the idea that just because kickboxing and Wing Chun were his first focuses that later formed his ultimate way of fighting, doesn't mean it will be yours? Don't you have to find your own way? It seems to me JKD would be better served as a philisophical book than taught in a dojo...Even Bruce Lee quite teaching JKD in the end because people were using it as an ultimate way of fighting, Bruces way! They were'nt finding there own way...I'm confused...What is it you JKD practitioners do in the dojo to properley carry on Lee's Legacy? (This posted in other sections as well, but I was hoping to maybe catch a few different people in here that might inform me... )

That would be really nice just because of the fact that it's custom, and it would fit amazing! That would be good for me because my physic is a little strange...I'm a less muscular Bruce Lee; Long legs, High waist, short torso. So bying pants and a top doesn't usually work in my favor...

I like the whole sword finger pose, what is that shoalin? I think so...Ya, but thats a pretty cool pose if you do kung fu...

Hey everyone, I was looking for advice about starting Tai Chi...I know there's alot of books about every aspect of it but...I want the real deal, I want the real internal benefits of it, not "McTaiChi" If you will...I don't have anywhere in my city to learn it. If my life or one of my loved ones was really at stake, I'd have no problem with ending there life...I'd have mercy if they were drunk or drugged...Though I'm a christian, there's a verse in the bible that says, a man that cannot protect himself or his family is an infidel. If that was the only way, goodbye...

I do own a 100% cotton interloop I got from BLT, I think thats what the company's name is, but I wouldn't recommend it. They're majorly hot when working out and they have interesting (as in bad) proportions...Sorry, I'd like to know too where I could get a good one...The one good thing though is I loved the pants, they're pretty nice, if you like high cuffs.

I would say you shouldn't be pondering that at all frankly, unless your some grandmaster or something, even then, why?
