How do you keep your rooms clean?

Do what monkeygirl told you -
I was gonna say karatechick, I'm the 19 year old.
-
I can't say I've ever seen the OC, and I probably should have, at 19, I'm right in that age group. All of my friends watch it.
-
Well, there are plenty of those on here. lol I think there are actually a few who are fairly young. like 15-19

Time is always a factor. I spend 4 nights a week at TKD practice since it's a team, plus I practice Isshin-Ryu on my own 7 days a week, then I have school and other responsibilities. Time can definitely be an interesting obstacle. I have to thank monkeygirl for her feminine insight, it's nice as a guy to get advice from a girl that isn't your friend. My thing, is that I have tons of girls who are friends. I can try to get advice from them, but they all think I'm a pretty great guy, so it's a little difficult to get advice on what does and doesn't work.

That's what I have been taught, it's called heiko dachi. You go straight from the shield hands to the hidden fist without separating the two hands. In other versions I have seen a swinging motion done with the fist as you step out into a seiuchin stance.

actually, I have found that girls do like "bad boys" when they are younger. IE my age. When they get a bit older, and they are ready to start bringing guys home to meet mom and dad, they want a nicer guy. It is quite odd because I have attracted women nearly a decade older than I am, and they are quite attractive, but I have a bit of a problem dating someone a decade older than me, but that will probably change in a couple of years. I am just a freshman in college right now. The girls my age, they are fantastically clueless as to what they actually want. Any time they describe their perfect guy, they really want someone who is quite the opposite. Women don't want a man who is funny and intelligent which are two of the more popular notions. They want a man (turn on the latin accent) that sounds like Antonio Banderas, who will sweep them off their feet and make them melt with his charm and bravado. (turn off accent)

How true, how true. It is all too easy to be absolutely charming with a girl you care nothing for, but when that chance girl comes along that makes you do a double-take, you can't think of a single thing to say. Terrible feeling isn't it?

it's getting pretty bad since I've only seen it once
-
"Tina eat your food. God!" "Napolean, gimme some of your tots."
-
I didn't like it. There were a few funny parts, but overall it was a waste of time. The only problem is that the movie is very quotable. "Girls only want boyfriends with great skills. Like nunchuck skills, and bo staff skills."
-
The funniest one may have come in the movie Dodge Ball. Lance Armstrong says, "I thought about giving up once when I got diagnosed with brain, lung, and testicular cancer all at the same time. But you know what? I got back on that bike and won the Tour de France 5 times in a row. I guess if a guy never give up he'll never have anything to regret. I'm sure you have a great reason for quitting though."

I'm not really into the whole holiday thing. My family has never been big on gift giving. We are religious, so Easter does have a special meaning.

I dunno, if I'd say that. Everyone has to let off some steam once in a while. If you get stepped on enough times, even the nicest guys get upset. Just because you get irritated or upset doesn't mean you're not a nice guy. It's kind of like the Kenny Rogers song Coward of the County. Sometimes people just get nudged and nudged, until they feel themselves on the edge, and they have to let things out.

Why do you have to fight for a black belt??

I think a lot of schools in your association go with the 24 hour bootcamp approach -
Unfortunately, we are a capitalist society that rewards those who get away with the most. Sure you can be an honest business man, but if you don't make money, you are screwed. However, if you do something dishonest yet within the bounds of the law, you are a great businessman. We reward those who get what they want in any way necessary even if it involves lying and cheating.

Don't feel bad, it feels that way a lot of times. I just keep thinking to myself, you know someday being nice is going to pay off. I have been told by quite a few girls though that I am too nice to live.

wow, I'm sure this is a very interesting month for you.

I started the bo and the sai at about the same time. -
alright, I live in the east village since I go to NYU. We actually have spring break the 12th-20th this month. I'll be in the city rather than going back to Wisconsin

I like to spar anyone who will challenge me. I've sparred TKD black belts, and that's pretty fun. Sparring with someone who does judo and allowing takedowns and throws can get really fun, because then you figure out just how fast you are. The least fun to spar is definitely the brawler. I've gotten a few people who just ran at me during tournaments and all I did was lean back and kick them high in the chest or in the head. It gets to be the same routine if they don't learn. I guess it's a way for them to learn though.
