  1. Some of the questions are stupid, but there a few good ones.
  2. Many have done them over time, some a couple at the same time, if you feel comfortable and got a deep pocket then go for it.

  11. lol oh yeah I seen that part, that whole movies has shoddy camera work so I didnt think much of it, I like it when he vs's the japs in there dojo.
  12. I have heard of Fudoshin, which is the art of mxing many styles And about the Do on the end of japanese styles, I heard that in ww2 the americans banned all martial arts so the japanese changed many style names to do at the end so they would be known as a religous practices and not martial arts.
  13. The best thing to do is to make your martial art your religion lol .
  14. They used to do this back in the pre UFC days in Brazil. It was common for a karate school/kickboxing school to challenge the Gracie Academy, so they'd set up vale tudo events with each school bringing their best fighters. that would be amazing to watch.
  15. Do a search on Google for him...you'll find tons of stuff I'm sure. He's the guy that the VanDamm movie "Kickboxer" was "supposedly" based on. Won the super secret "kumite" Problem is...he's never been able to provide one shred of proof about it. I thought the movie was called bloodsport?
  16. If that wasant a Joke then I would suggest you go rent The Ultimate fighting championship 1-4 I would if I could, What I ment is if they did a 5 on 5 match in a huge ring or something if they have done that then tell me if bjj won cos I never seen these shows where I live.
  17. Have they ever did a fight were there is a bjj practioner vs many other guys from other styles, free for all - I like to see who wins that.
  18. Theres so much information in this forum, much more than a book, you learn things you cant learn anywear else.

  20. hey you said what I was going to say lol
  21. I wish i didnt quit karate when I was about 10 years old I would be like a 3rd dan buy now.
  22. Great to see everyones happy, Im currently not at a dojo but will be soon (very soon). I dont think a book would be a good way to learn its just to hard, its better to have a teacher to tell you if you are doing something wrong or not and the instructer can make a big impact on your training, its like parents if you have bad parents then the kid might come out bad just like the parents if you have good parents then you will come good(not always lol) anyway if there is no possiblility of getting a instructer then try getting those dvds that show the techniqes close up.
  23. How long does it take to learn falls properly? have you learned them yet?
