TKD... it seems TKD loose their balance real quick. usually some like to show off and do so much butterfly kicks or always jumping around , i saw so many openings where just pushing them and redirecting at the right moment could easily disrupt them and send them to the ground or flying. Dont get me wrong. it is a good and respective art.
  2. im just pointing out some pointers if it is a life or death situation.
  3. fast, slow, moderate, a swing is a swing..dont get fear inside you. dont concentrate on the bat or his size. when he swings move in next to him and his momentum will take him down.
  4. against a nelson.. when you feel or know your gonna be grabbed from behind to a nelson(which is your opponent wraps your arms and then locks his fingers which he rests them behing your neck. just send energy and stay relaxed. he wont be able to lift your arms up. then quickly counter with something. if you use energy at the right time, you avoid almost anything. just for that second, your energy helped out. even at just that instant...even if he struggles to lift your arms up if your stay relaxed and maintain energy he will not be able to lift your arms up.
  5. if you use the knife to stab. grab it reverse. kinda like the ninja grabs a sword. the knife blunt side on your forearm. if you stab the ribs, stab the knife in sideways...so it wont get stuck in the ribs. there many ways to defend against a knife attack. if he comes straigt in to your stomach area redirect his energy to the ground. when he is coming in. move in and palms together to grab his wrist with the knife and pull down moving your center down. causing him to fall.
  6. speaking aikido languange...the wild swing is very simple to control and attack your opponnent, especially if the opponnent has lost control of himself due to his anger or his actions to win no matter what. the opponent swings with a wild swing to your side of the head , duck down or squat and explode all your energy to his ribs or stomach with your hands open. or a strike to the leg with a hard punch. or move to the opposite side from which the strike is coming from and bring one hand up to block and the other hand with a side strike to the throat. (street only). all in one motion..flowing and moving.
  7. the throw more successful for me was the kote-gaeshi..from my shirt being almost grabed. and also going for the fingers and folding their fingers in akward position till they scream.
  8. predicting a move is quite simple. stare at his eyes but not concentrating on his eyes. just relax and it all comes into place. if he has a knife dont stare at his knife because you might lose yourself. Morihei Ueshiba said this kind of words and it really is the truth. just relax and it all comes into place.
  9. usually in a fight, if you get kicked in the head and he has a fast kick just step back. tae kwon do practitioners are usually the ones who like to kick to the head due to their training. but they easily and quickly loose their balance. just push them when they lift their leg. i dont think one leg can hold all the weight of them. really simple.

  13. its ok. believe or dont believe. those of you who care and want to hear about somethings, ill be glad to say. well first of all how have all of you been. ive been out, busy. sorry. i wont be here much. though for a while but, anyway...i said five major areas, not only areas. good legs meaning strong flexible legs. strong fingers(doing finger push ups),strong wrists (doing wrists push ups). strong fists(doing push ups on rocks.) ill try to write the form for the leg excercise one. start on a ready stance. this is by be completely straight. then put the right leg up to your stomach like praparing for a front kick. then place the right leg over to your right, like a right bow stance. then bring the other leg and switch over to a cat stance facing left. then squat down to a lotus stance. then from here go to a ready stance again and go to a left bow stance and then repeat, now on the second ready stance go to a cat stance, then to a scissors stance then do a scissors sit, then jump up to a horse stance and then to cat stance then to ready stance again. and repeat. then twist your body and face straight. that is excercise one.
  14. be relaxed in a fight. always be relaxed. your mind can only concentrate on one thing. for example if you grab some one with force. your mind is on the grab. always be relaxed. but ready. like the saying. soft on the outside but hard on the inside. like and iron bar wrapped with cotton around it. you'll move easier and see the openings like nothing.
  15. Boxing is a good sport and i have always loved it. I used to box but not anymore. Now aikido is what i have been in. try not to kick so much if your not fast. and dont kick if your fast but your kicks dont hurt. you'll kick and he'll just move and throw some combonations. Dont kick so much high up. thats a no,no. if your a good kicker, kick him in the thighs. if you cant help it and your a high kicker. go for the gut. but the head is hard to hit for a karateka since the boxer is always bobing and weaving. so instead of the head go for the body. after feeling some good hits in the thighs and body kicks. he'll start to slow down. show him no mercy.
  16. try doing 20 push ups as a start...if you cant do push ups get in a push up position and do a half push up and stay there as long as you can...later on you will be able to do push ups. for those expert push up doers... do 200 regular push ups... 50...knuckle push ups 50....wrist push ups... 50.....finger push ups..
  17. if you ask me.. do crunches......till you cant no more do side crunches....till you cant no more do the other side....till you cant no more do leg lifts....till you cant no more rest between 30 seconds in each excercise. repeat 2 times....as a start and do em as many times in the day as possible..morning, during the mid day...night. abs easily recover from soarness...so do em regularly. enjoy your abs.....
  18. call the guy up and ask him.. if you cant get a hold of him wear something comfortable at first warmups...shorts..and a white shirt or something. then after the practice tell the guy you called if its ok what your wearing. it should be ok, dont worry....
  19. well in the street anything is possible. you might confront to anything. knifes, guns, bites(if your beating him up to point he knows he cant beat you, hell start to bite...watch yourself). we live in a crazy world.... you might be a good and nice person and never had a problem with no one...but even a person like that might get assaulted, confronted by a drug user or whatever. ive been in many fights...rarely seen kicks thrown in my fights. maybe because they didnt last long... anyway...i liked to mix it up....throw punches in every opportunity kicked...then apply some techniques depending the situation if the guy got frustrated not being able to get close without getting hit he would charge.(like try to grab me or clinch with me....even worse for him anyway...whats your best fight youve been in. i grew up mostly as a boxer...until i recently went out of town to study the martial arts...kung fu...etc. ive had experiences..like everyone else here.. let me hear some of your expierences
  20. streetfights...... anything can happen in a street fight...when surrounded by 3 or more. if there is only one person you can see what he is doing and have a better focus. but when there are many you may be knocking one out while the other is taking out a knife or any thing that can be used as a weapon. usually if there are many, go for a kick to the groin area. strike an eye poke to the eyes. try moving and throwing your attacker to the other one. tie em up. and break some wrists or arms. if you want to get dirty.... strike with a kick to the legs usually in the knees or thighs to weaken him. also in the shin and ankles. try not to kick so much high up only where it is necessery. you could lose your balance...   21. i see.... when i type it down...the distraction part and detaining him or her. you picture it in your mind and have a long version. this is simply a less than half a second technique and youll have him pin down to the floor or whatever. im just explaining how the mind can easily be distracted. now if it was someone else.....ofcourse kick him or punch him. hey if your in danger....either fight or get ready for a beating
  22. i see your view...... i usually post ideas on some of my experiences in fights. trying to give some help...but not a rule to follow.
  23. when someone mentions ki he usually starts to think something magical something supernatural...but it aint. you saw yourself with the arm that it was all in the mind.and send ki to the arm...i bet you didnt even notice. you may feel some kind of gental tickle flow through your body when performing some of these little practical techniques i posted. Nothing forceful but relaxed instead. it usually channels through your body..flowing and you can send it to an area where you want it to be. like the arm...you send it to the arm in that excercises. ki is not something magical or supernatural or powers...it is that simple. (forgive this new member here)if i posted something offensive. you said it yourself,with all due respect, laugh about it.
  24. i was just trying compare arts and founders and different ideas on how many founders had their way with what they believed in. im just comparing styles and how one finds a unique way of defense or an art to live by...
