  1. Man that's sick and sad...we need people to be able to stand up and do things instead of sit back and cower.
  2. Nice writing Ryuk.
  3. Yeah, it's so weird, I have lost my taste in soda as well. I prefer water as my favorite drink. It's just too addictive!
  4. Well, I might not count Kenshin, because it's mostly sword. The street fighter animes are fighting of course, the Fatal Fury series, and well if you kind of want to count Dragonball Z.
  5. Also did you know that most suicidals were linked with alcohol?
  6. The series also give off essences and qualities that, we, humans all have, with a lot of humor and irony in it too, it really is good if you have not read it yet. There are 5 books in the series.
  7. Hey those are one of my favorite book series, have you read the Mallorean series as well?
  8. MAN?!!!!!!! .....I write better crap than that....and yeah, why is this guy allowed to have his school open if something bad like this happens?
  9. Of course it's good not to talk about fighting, nonetheless brag about it. Though, some of us just try to tell of experience, instead of intetionally bragging. I do believe it is wrong to do such things, especially using MA skills to hurt someone. Anyway, just don't think that bad things still go on, just because some of us are still young and naive, doesn't mean we all are. There still is room for learning about martial arts in a non-violent way.
  10. Eye of the Tiger-Survivor and Let's Go-Trick Daddy, Lil Jon, and Twista
  11. Still in high school...pointers, tips, tricks, and everything else in between apprieciated...
  12. Well, due to the American Revolution, we, the Americans, were able to seek out new laws and our own government type instead of following the British Empire's. Something like that...other than my little social studies book from last year...I can't help you that much.
  13. Gwaf...I also had a boring school dance... Right now I just want to go to sleep and eat and sleep some more.... Then I'm going to convert whatever time I have into something I feel like doing...
  14. Yeah, the weapons idea works a lot...nunchakus, bos, sais, etc, because it opens a new door that they have not gone in yet. Though, if your daugther does not like MA right now, just let her a long vacation. Maybe when in High school or when she gets more mature, she'll dig in karate again.
  15. Well, I sort of lost interest in MK a while ago, and my system doesn't support DOA:Ultimate , but I can get Tekken 5 and it looks like it should be good.
  16. Whoa!Nice avatar...now I see why the name is Drunken Monkey...
  17. Well, I didn't really expect it to happen, but Mt. St. Helens is going to erupt again, though most possibly not as bad as it did 20+years ago. Living in the Northwest in Portland, it seems kind of "adrenilinish"...The scientists say there's a 70% chance it shall erupt within the next few days to a month, but I don't know yet. Now I just have to prepare if any ash from the eruption will get swept over here. Poor car paint....
  18. P-town..heheh, well I live in SE Portland.
  19. Congratulations Mr. ThaiBoxerKen!
  20. Ahha! But I said "trained". Anyway, some ninjas truly do have martial arts background as you said...I read it off the dictionary.
  21. I have to say sorry man, it's so horrible that there are bad people who kill for such dumb things that any fool can do in a better way. I also do hope Sami recovers okay. My best hopes and wishes goes to Cvkid and those affected by this tragic incident.
  22. Well, I'll explain, ninjas are from Japan, and Iron Monkey is from China. They may both wear masks and dark clothing, but that has nothing to do with ninjas. In fact ninjas are just trained assasins used to kill targets, Iron Monkey is a warrior who helps out the people from the corrupt government. There, it kind of settles it....
  23. I like to think of who the fighter is, each MA has its own stregnth and weaknesses, it just depends on whoever is fighting and how he/she can use and apply those stregnths and weaknesses in combat.
  24. They both are good contributors, because they both did something, and without eachother, MA may have been what it is not today. As someone in the past said, "I could not have done what I did today without a stepping stone." Or something like that....
  25. Well I think "ki" can be another way of just saying plain energy and since it was developed fully in the past first before any science came to the land, people probably explained the physicalness of doing something with reverse joints or something as ki. Example is what someone said earlier about that guy Gilbert's unbendable arm thing, it probably is a muscle trick in which you make it where you can't contract your muscles (or something like that). Though we can explain it through here as something we know from science, back then there was no official way of having science education, so what we know as science was probably reffered to back then as ki. The thing can also be for other things as well, instead of science, it could be and include other things as well, psychology, stregnth training, etc. Then again, I don't know, it's what I sort of think, go ahead and say what you want.
