  1. Yeah, I once saw a ridge hand or forearm "clothes line" done in a fight. It happened so fast, I couldnt tell if the guy got hit by the habd or the arm.
  2. ok..the link seems to be close to the same I have been reading. different wording....still like to see other explanations and opinions though
  3. wing chun kuen man, Careful, DM seems to enjoy struting. "Drunken" may suit him a times.
  4. These medias aide as a reference. For instance, you learn a system. You make a video of yourself doing information for a record. Later, you review your record. Of course you know the material, the review is for a reference. It also can show you any flaws that you have done. But this is all based after you have perosnal instruction or your instructor is "on set" while you make your video
  5. Also, I had also posted that no one knowas all of the answers.
  6. Looking for different answers and different opinions
  7. Does anyone know its meanings? Does anyone know India's influence on Chinese martial arts/ Does anyone know why the Nazis pointed in another direction?
  8. Kicks, I see that you are from Nu Awlins. So am I. Where is your school/instructor?
  9. JerryLove, I had visited that website https://www.clearsilat.com Very interesting. Are you Mr Clear? I'll take your invitation. Not out of ego, but curiousity. Email me details of class hours, telephone, directions from Louisiana.
  10. Granted the bag should not.... Also, per my instructor's guidance. Also, he said in this century, SOME of it is pointless.
  11. Ah, I meant getting hit so hard that you almost pass out and then regain your senses
  12. Don't misconstrue what I am saying. Earlier in life, juevenile years, there was anxiety when getting into a fight. Some have this anxiety as fear and some have in temperment (extremely angry). Those that have fear, are not necessarily cowards, they are mainly people whom do not like confrontations.
  13. Yeah, cops use them too...the ones I have seen, usually had a partner to help them.
  14. Yes, the Nazis have ruined that symbol for a long eternity.
  15. I found this the case with SOME other arts away from US
  16. Yeah, school fights are common. After school fights, neighborhood, bars, alleys,....another????
  17. Andre was HUGE Yes, Gracies are fierce. They had a open Challenge to anyone to go there. It was called the "Gracie Challenge" There are people whom succeded, do you know who they were? It is easy to talk about people whom are deceased. When they are gone, they cannot back-up themselves. Strange, when they were here, that got recogonised.
  18. They could die, I suppose, it may be the degree of power or accuracy deilivered
  19. quote] The problem is, people have seen "Fight Club" and think that it is a pretty cool movie. Many of them miss the point, and fail to understand it is about a guy with multiple personality disorder-not about a real fight club. I think too many people blur the line between fiction and non-fiction, and start to believe everything they see in the movies is real. Bravo....I said the same thing on occasion with other subjects
  20. I have to agree that taping wont last. What you use (per shoes) will depend on the instructor. A lot of shoe stores have a selection of shoes that are not to rugged. Talk to the instructor. See a doctor. BTW, does your feet have an odor as well? I know it can be enbarassing.
