  2. front to the groin. Axe to the head. Works every time!
  3. At my football camp we do something similar called the pyramid. You sprint for 5 rest for 7 sprint for 10 rest for 12 sprint for 20 rest for 22 sprint for 30 rest for 30 sprint for a full minute rest for 45 My coach has this odd system worked out where you never quite get enough restand we are doing this for thirty minutes. You're dead after this. It's hard!!!
  4. I run for fitness because it's proven that you get the best workout from running, but I also prefer biking but I BMX. I own a Diamondback Viper XXL
  5. I'm with you on this one. In our dojo classes are determined by age and then split again by rank. that way everybody in a class is on a similar level of fitness and skill.
  6. I'm right with you on this one. I feel like I'm the only one actually working in my class. We've actually had to stop class and sit because the sensei became to irritated by the lack of respect from one of our students. I can't take it. I've been training for so long without a test he says by the next test I'll be ready fora double promotion. In my school these are quite rare. I've been working like a dog for one.
  7. Coolio, welcome to the forums. Tell us about yourself.

  12. Kind of Yoda. Bushido is an art if you want concepts. Bujutsu may be more of an art.
  13. Thank you for the insight yoda. This is indeed an odd ball sport.
  14. First of all welcome to the forums. 90 % of martial arts fights will end up on the ground. these are fights where the people have been trained with ground fighting techniques and are comfortable using them. Street fights are different. Different weapons may be used and those kind of people don't really care how they fight as long as they win.
  15. You sound like a well learned person. Glad to have you here.
  16. I believe that there is already a thread for music.
  17. Obviously there is no actual definition to trapping. Combine all of these posts together and you have trapping. It is a very broad catergory.
  18. Wow there are five longies in this thread all very interesting.
