Karate training usually 3 nights a week.. which would be 6 hours. Plus Sat morning for 1 hour. I teach two classes on friday nights and one on Saturday morning.

I'm not familar with the laws in your part of the world JerryLove, but over here you can't shoot someone before they might attack you, even if they continue to walk towards you. Besides most of the population here do not own or carry firearms. I must agree, evasion and seeking assistance would be a better solution if your mannerisms did not deter them. However.. what if you are with friends, or perhaps less able family members? What options would you take then?

Yes, I would agree that most people, even potential attackers, would probably stay away from someone acting "crazy".. I think there's more social efficiency and spiritual harmony in maintaining positive and assertive mannerisms - confindent but not cocky. Arrogant people can often become targets.
