  4. their spinning back kicks are deadly and deceptive due to how the upper body goes down and the hands are on the ground. just how shortdog described.

  9. i feel that one steps is a good way for novice and lower belts students to become aquainted with, and as a starting point to the realistic forms of self defense. as a BB, we can not forget or stop learning from the BASICS. moreover, as with everything, the basics are the foundation we build on.
  10. i would try to use a front or roundhouse kick to set it up that jump spinning back kick
  11. i really enjoy the music they use and the moves are very quick and fluid.
  12. i count six members so far that consider themselves korean martial artist. we are a small group so far, but we seem to be holding our own with contributions in this forum.

  20. some people won't belive it, but you are using you MA experence when you avoid violence and control the situation before it gets out of hand. just another view

  22. in my experience pressure points takes years of practice to get it right........better you use nerve points or centers to weaken your opponent in certain areas and then apply whatever technique you prefer to get the advantage. just my view
  23. i have seen the como. belt in A.T.A. TAEKWONDO schools. in those schools the stripes are for the progression towards the next belt.(so students feel they are headed in the right direction) just for the info.........
  24. violence is only to protect life or loved ones and NOT to protect egos. thank you TIM for confirming that statement.
