i just happen to be watching "BILLY JACK" now and thought we should have a thread dedicated to just martial arts movies and discussion. "BILLY JACK" focused on HAPKIDO as the martial art in this movie. so how about the movie and the type of MA dedicated to that movie.

a lot of times we as americans refer to america because we have no other reference point.....for instance, as for me i have been to other countries but have never practiced martial arts there.......so sometime it's hard to include other countries when speaking of certain things. such as the things mention in this thread. it's all in your individual perspective. just my humble opinion.

yes .in the heat and places that stay hot, like florida where it's hot and humid all the time, hydration is very important...... so always keep that in the back of your mind......if your thirsty it's usually close too to late.......

i also use the elbows to strike the opponents attacking techniques.

yes....the eagle and the baby eagle are nice firearms.

i agree.....relax/ have fun/ and split up your workout........never punish yourself...give yourself credit...........at least your not sitting around waiting for whatever to come to you.

Answer to IRON.....kukkiwon only requires payment to be affiliated with them..most instructors i have been with will give you their certification without the kukkiwon cert. if thats what you want...but kukkiwon will be accepted by other instructors where the individual cert. doesn't carry much weight. KICKCHICK.....when i first tested for my 1st dan.....i only payed $100 ( that was 20 yrs ago)...but as the rank increased the price increased....(plus i guess you must allow for the time factor of then and now.) humble respects with a bow
