  3. NEIL......questions for you?........what experience do you have with board breaking?...such as, how many boards at one time? what type of techniques used for these breaks? your TKD background? depending on the answers to these questions. maybe we can be of some help.
  4. welcome INWAH to this forum and happy posting.
  5. just a joke here...... i have conditioned my hands..... first with jello, then pudding, next week i move up to tapioka ( it has particles in it that might hurt me). but seriously..becareful and protect the hands with wraps and gloves. use proper punching techniques by making a tight fist and using the strong part of the fist (first two knuckles) to prevent boxers fractures.
  6. my entry was not for trouble or scoldings, but for information only.......besides wooden weapons kill also if use correctly.... i think it was MIYAMOTO MUSASHI. (correct me if i'm wrong.) who was a great japanese swordsman that fought most of his fights with a wooden bokken and won. _________________ rushman (taekwondo moderator) 3rd dan wtf/kukkiwon florida This Message was edited by: iamrushman on Aug 12, 2001 1:34pm

  8. with humble respects: history plays a large role in life..........without history none of us would be here or have a future. we all will be history sooner or later.
  9. i see another thread on the same subject in this section...why not save energy...it's a two page thread and post there to see what others have posted.........
  10. i don't know about everyone's location, but in most states nunchakus, sais, shurikens, swords, and most other martial art weapons are illegal to carry around unless you have a concealed weapons permit. if you have a permit why carry nunchucks, or other MA weopons when you can carry a firearm. just for info ........check to see if you can carry them without a permit. _________________ rushman (taekwondo moderator) 3rd dan wtf/kukkiwon florida This Message was edited by: iamrushman on Aug 12, 2001 10:56am

  16. the reason i use open hand techniques to the head is because i got a tooth imbedded into my knuckles once and got an infection. angus insted of backfisting to the cheek try the temple, it's much more effective. violence is for protecting life and loved one's not ego.

  18. i suggest using open hand techniques to the head so not to injure yourself.
