Even more intense try hunting with your bare hands, naked, just like animals do. That should even things up somewhat. Im not a hunting fan as you can see-don't have a problem hunting for food but for sport it seems a bit callous. I think HL2 graphics are better than the current unreal engines by far. It will be even runnings between HL2 and Doom 3 graphics its just they have totally different styles and different requirements for diferent gameplay styles. The Quake 4 engine should be interesting aswel as it will be similar to Doom 3 but the games been out sourced so the engine will probably change a bit. Haven't heard anything about the next gen unreal engine though.

Hmm my maths teacher had a nervous breakdown in yr11 (which is a big test year in the UK (gcse's)) but fortunately i still came out with a B, althougth it makes me wonder what I could have got..

Low stances are something I already use when sparring "little people", usually back stance as this means they have a lot more distance to cover with their teeny tiny little limbs (you may be sensing some resentment about now). I tried keeping them at bay with kicks-worked quite well, the kid was off school for a month..lol My instructor however has a habit of tying up my hands (not literaly) when sparring then kicking me in the back of the head when im pre-occupied.

Im 18 but about 6'1 and I don't like sparring people smaller than me (noticeably smaller I mean) because they can just close in and finish me off, this means I often have to back away somewhat, plus its harder to block low than high..doesn't help that my instructor is smaller than me...

I always heard that the knot of the belt had to go to the left hand side to make it a challenge to your instructor (maybe its both). I remember once whilst we were sparring my instructor thought we looked a little hot so he went round squirting people with a spray bottle full of water-he stopped when I grabbed a bottle of water and hammered the side-thus drenching him. After he had finished chasing me around the dojo we all had a good laugh about it - this isn't/wasn't usual practice by any means it was just one of those days where everyone was in a funny mood - nothing bad or disrispectful about it as far as any of us could see.

UK £5 per lesson for 1 person £ 4 per person for two people for 1 lesson £ 3 per person for three or more people for 1 lesson As a Sempai I am fortunate to train for free unless im actually being taught in the class as opposed to helping teach, this means I can train quite alot for relatively little money. I agree with what both G95champ and gheinisch say about time training and whether you can actually teach or not. I can teach and I have the five years exp but not yet the black belt around my waist-which is why I only want to sempai at the moment.

Nope net yet, I think I mustnhave a pretty thick skull though because I have been hit in the head HARD a few times-the worst of which made me fuzzy for a bit so I had to get a drink, but other than that fists etc: seem to bounce off my noggin especially those of yellow belts learning to spar who have little control (or a grudge).

I don't have a problem hitting girls...its just when they start hitting me back and I cry that the problems start .. J/K I also hate when people call me Karate kid and proceed to emit some high pitched whinning noise ala the karate kid movies (with crane stance)-when that happens just move away really quickly and start laughing at them and then everyone else will look and start laughing too-either that or spear strike them in the throat-although the later option may be slightly extreme...
