King of Fighters

Nope everyone, im pretty sure it was comming from under my bed and not from the walls, im also pretty sure im not crazy.

A slight change of plan, the guy im buying it off of is jacking up the prices so im gonna buy all the parts and me and my dad are gonna build it. Ecery thing will be the same except it will have an athlon 2600 or 2700, will that change anything?

well whatever it was, its gone now, i havent heard it in a couple of days, and i couldnt find any trace to what it was under my bed.

Ok, right now its about 12:30 and i was just reading the new harry potter book (which is quite good), and something wierd happened thats been going on for the last 4 nights. Comming from the back of my bed i hear a really wierd buzzing. It sounds like a mosquito but i cant see any flying around or anything and for the last few nights its been comming from behind my bed. On the first night it wasnt there all day but at night time (around this time) i heard it while was reading. It went on and off for a few hours and then stopped. The same thing happened 2 other nights until last night after a while a mosquito came out from behind my bed. I killed it and then though it must has been trapped (even though i thought they only lived for like 24 hurs). But the same thing is happening tonight. So could anyone who knows lots about animals, or is a animal scientist/doctor please tell me what the hell is going on. and im not crazy!!!!

Personally i first person shooters and rpgs the best, and say any games that are good, wither they are violent or not because i can buy just about any game that i want as long as it doesnt have the words grand theft auto in the title.

And its gonna cost about $1600 (canadian) all together with tax and everything.

pentium 4 3.06 ghz processor, 120 gb hard drive with 8 mb cache, 512 mb of ddr pc 2700 premium ram, radeon 9600 pro, the computer also comes with a monitor and speakers. I havent bought it yet because im still a little short, but i will be buying it in the next couple weeks.

Yea i dont really like dancing much either...because i suck. But i was at a dance and a friend of mine was just going crazy, the guys though he looked funny but the all girls just loved it. So i gave just going crazy to look stupid a try, and it was a lot of fun and a couple of girls though i was doing really good. So my point, if i even have one is dont over think stuff, and just go crazy on the dance floor.

Im gonna try and keep this short. I have had macintosh computers all my life because thats all my dad buys. I hate macs because they cant play any games or use kazaa or mirc, so finally i have been saving up for a new computer. Im getting my pc from a guy my friend knows that makes custom computers for a really good price. My computer will be pretty good and will be able to run most games, which bings me to my point. With the leftover money, what game should i buy first? I will only have enough for about 1 or 2 games. Sio i am wondering if everyone could name e some good games for pc that might be good to get and maybe say in short whats so great about them. Since i have had a mac, i am not overly fimilar with pc games and i have just been a console gamer for the last few years, so please at least put what genre the game is.

Kenshin is alright. Ive seen all the episodes, oavs and the movie (non of which were dubbed or edited). Personally i think the oavs of when kenshin was still an assasin in the war were a million times better than the show (not to say that the show wasnt good though, because it was). I though that the sow was a little to silly at times, but there were still some good fight scenes. Personally i think the show had its best episodes during the sheshio saga (which kicks off with the amazing kenshin vs saito fight), but before and after the saga (or whatever you want to call it) the show isnt really that great.

ddr is a friggin amazing game. I dont really like playing it with the pad things though, i prefer to use a key board and playing it on my computer. o! e! o! ah ah!, o ah ah! wila wila bing bang!

Well, actually now that you bring up that i said every street fighter game was good, i take that back. I should of said that every 2D street fighter has been good, because the couple of 3d ones that capcom made really blew ass.

The Mortal kombat series is crap. Only the first and second games were good and every other mk game sucked (although the new mk game, deadly alliance, is not too bad). Every street fighter game has been good, even though all its reincarnations are all pretty much the same except with better graphics.

I think they should. Its not really that dangerous. You dont see people dying of alchohaul posioning, or lung cancer all the time from smoking a joint.

I personally think that southern styles of kung fu is better than japanese styles karate, and okinawin stlyes of karate is better than nothern styles shaolin kung fu. And okinawin karate and southern kung fu styles are equal. This is not always true but i believe it is in most cases. The main difference between kung fu and karate is that karate is more linear while kung fu is more circular.

i cant stand dubed anime, il only watch it if it has sub titles.

I dont think its really that great of a game. Stealth games like mgs and splinter cell are WAY better.

Im taking about the order of the systems that heve the best fighters. And dreamcast is the best system for fighting games.

Dead or alive games are great, but i would have to say that dead or alive 2 is way better than dead or alive 3. Doa2 is like old school 3d style, and it has better controlls, attacks and gameplay. Plus in Doa3 the last boss omega is super cheap and really gay.

I was just wondering, Whats up with akira or whatever the hell his name is name is from virtua fighter. Hes japanese, lives in japan, wears a gi, but does kung fu (although his attacks in the game seem to be more like karate), that is wack! Also what martial art do ken and ryu from street fighter take (i know they take the same art because they have the same master)? Im pretty mure its karate or kenpo because they are japanese and wear gi's. If anyone knows the answers to iether to these questions let me know.

(Note before i begin. Administrators PLEASE DO NOT CLOSE THIS FORUM. I know i already had a what should i do froum about a month ago, but this is different, considering the other one was asking what art i should do, where this what school i should attend. So please do not close this forum because i really need advice from fellow martial artists.) What shoud i do? I have been taking Muay Thai for about a year now. When i started off I had an excellent instructor. He quit for reasons i do no know. Then we got an average instructor. The average instructor quit. Then we got an ok instructor. The problem was he would only show up for a thrid of the class. Aventually he quit and we were without an instructor for about a month. Now we have a new instructor. For one, I dont like this instructor very much. Hes a nice guy but i dont really like the way teaches. Plus, how long before he quits? How long before he stops comming and we dont have an instructor for a couple months? Since he drives from a near by city, and only volunteers, i doubt that he will stay for very long because he is just a replacement (plus he has a gym of his own). I have looked and there are no other Muay Thai schools in my city. Heres where the decesion comes in. There is a Shorin Ryu Karate school that i am thinking of joining. I tried out a class and i liked it. The school seems very good and quite focused on self defence. Its also serious about giving out black belts, and actually to obtain one you have to go to the Shorin Ryu head quaters (in vergenia) after you have passed brown belt and you have to take a lenghy test (of knowledge and skill). I think this makes the school serious about teaching and deffinetly not a mcdojo. The school is less money than the Muay Thai, Its really close to my house, it has slightly longer classes than MT, plus 2 of my friends from school go there and so do my nieghbour and his son. The people there were friendly and were happy to give me 2 free classes. This is the lesson structure of the classes. Before class starts theres an hour or sparring, when class begins theres warmups and stretching, followed by group katas and technique, then everyone is allowed to work on whatever katas or technique the want by them selves or with partners. So what should I do. Stay in Muay Thai or go to the Shorin Ryu school (also what do you guys think of Shorin Ryu).

These are really gross diets. Food is sepposed to be something that you enjoy.
