  1. you have a point. You see, Air Craft Carriers work just fine with women, but heres why: 1. its like a frakin floating city! 2. they port plenty so guys have a chance to...umm...do whatever they need to do away from the ships personel. 3. its easy for MAA units to imobilize disorderly conduct, were as if something goes down on a sub, its hard for the MAAs to control the situation, and you cant surface to send someone home because youd risk national security but allowing a submarine, the spy plane of the water world, to reveal itself.
  2. thank you! finnaly someone in the espionage netertainment world that makes since! heres a question for: say they make a live action movie for syphon Filter, who do you think could play Lian Xing, i think Courtney Cox might be a good pick.
  3. the best american spy only shows up in the video games: Syphon Filter's Gabe Logan, he kicks....oh god, now there all gonna talk about splitter cell
  4. i loiked the original ethan hunt, and id be lying if i said i wasnt humming the theme for weeks after seeing M:I but i just can't stand Tom Cruise! id rather watch every Roger Moore movie six times!
  5. oh, one other thing id like to clear up. somebody said something like 'the only girl on a ship underwater for six months' as a sailor i wanted to make a note to all of you that submarines do not ingage on tours for six months the only ships that are even capable of such a feat are air Craft Cariiears, Gator transport units, guided missle crusiers, hospital ships, frigets, and destroyers.
  6. i didnt really bother to read anyones post,...because i dont like any of you... (j/k) but heres my opinion and if its already been said than oh well, read it anyway, because i took time out of my dramaticly important life to write it! Fenis is right! so women should have to do the same things men do. discrimination? how about now! the reason we are all trained the same is because if we become prisoners of war we will all be treated the same? the enemy sure as hell isnt going to give you a break on the battlefield because your a woman, so why on earth would we give you a break in training? the only person that youd be hurting by supporting such a break is you! because its you a*s thats getting blown off under fire, not mine because you were not trained properly. the exersise and fitness levels demanded of basic training are those that will be demanded of you on the battlefield. end of story. so i dont care if your male female, nueder, a-sexual, black, white, yellow, purple or green, if you can cut it like everyone else has to you dont belong on the line! as my boss loves to say "Boom Baby!...Just like that."
  7. Pirce Bronson is very closely tied with Sean Connery, i cant chose. but thewn again i have been informed that my favorite sean connery bond movie is qoute 'the worst bond movie ever made' 'for a man, a man who says never and on no one does he depend that i could be, the woman to take you and make you, Never say Never Again!' anyways, what the heck? the brits get james bond and what are we stuck with? Ethan Hunt, i don't think so!

i agree goldeneye had a great bond girl, of the Pirce Bronson movies Goldeneye was definitly the best as well. my favorite bond girl though? umm, she is a good one, i dont know i have to think about which one was my favoritei thought Christmas from The world is Not enough was pretty cool, but she reminded to much of Lara Croft. "Ive always wanted to have Christmas in July"

Monkey, i agree with you on everything, except for jinxx, in my opinion Jinxx is among the best bond girls ever. your right, to up there about it being cool when he is god like, license to kill wasnt great (Living day lights was worse though) however i think we do need little reminders of the fact that the only reason he is so good is his training and a born talent, but he isnt perfect which i think Die another Day did. i see were your coming from with the younger generation bit, its real evident if you look at the sound track: ie, the bond theme remix which sounds like some of that prep bull you heard on fast and the furious. \ you know what i find funny? Dr. No sucked really but no one, not even me, will say anything bad about it because it was the birth of the legend. BTW didnt they do the movies way out of order with the original stories? i mean wasnt the first one actually like, In her majesties secret service or something?
  12. yes dana, i am from new zealand...didnt you know....will you should...because im wathing you from your window! Dana:

granted, but actaully i found the ending stupiudly entertaining. i here there making a series based on jinxx's character. i wasnt crazy about the suit, but the altered apperance and everything, the plot over all, i liked it. the reason i think it will be a classic is because they developed a lot of characters more. for one thing, Bond, now that he has been captured without really escaping for a long time now, appears more human to us, and we might even be able to conect with him as a character instead of treat him like an invinsible god like person. Money penny, of couse i refer to the similation scene, R, who we didnt really like very much untill Die Another Day because we were still morning the loss of Q (god rest his soul, wondeful actor) and of course we learned to hate M that much more, and we loved every second of it. just an intresting note you guys might find pretty cool, i actually have permission from MGM to use one of there bond songs in one of my own stories, the contract is in whats called a 'pending process' which means when the series is finnished, royalties will be further discussed, but innitially i have ther permission. The song is, naturally, Tina Turner's 'Goldeneye'. im using it because its lyrics use a lot of parallel symbolism with my work, and also i have this little continuing trend with the season premeres of this series im writing, but i won't get into that here. 'see refelections on the water, theres more than darkness, in the depth, see him surface on every shadow, in the wind i feel his breath.'

'for a man, a man who says never, that i might just be, the woman who takes you, and makes you Never say never again! 'never, never, never say never again, never, never say never again!' yes! its one of my favorites, thunderball was great to! i just love Never Say Never again, how can you say its bad! its classic! esides thunderball isnt as funny for one thing, the one liners arn't as good: Nurse: Mr. Bond, im going to need a urine sample. Bond: from here? And the sound track was better than thunderballs to. the only problem with never say never again was the villians. with the exception of Flatima (the evil chick) the villins were corny, a direct inspiration for those found in Austin Powers. though its been a while since i saw Thunderball, so ill watch it one more time to give benifit of the doubt. BTW have you checked out Die another day yet? i have the SE DVD, thats gonna be a classic! now i must qoute my favorite never say never again scene because...umm...its important to the integrity of the thread! Bond: with all do respect sir ive played your war games for twenty two days now and i only died once. M: twice! you forgot about the mine field on the Costa Ricin beach! Bond: correction sir, both my legs were blown off i did not die. M: you were imoblized! ( how can you not love that?)

will, thats part of it, but another good reason for saying they arn't official bond films is because they were not one of Ian Flemmings original concepts. however, never say never again, is GOOD i mean really good, they didnt screw it up like most companies do when they try and take a concept and run with it, Casino Royale i have not seen yet, is it a Roger Moore? My two favorites are definitly never say Never again and Goldeneye, though i liked You Only Live Twice alot to. my least favorite - definitly in Living day Lights, that was just wrong, it wasnt really a bad movie it just didnt FEEL like a bond film, kinda like how Rocky 5 didnt feel like rocky. (they screwed the score up on both movies, though the die another day version of the bond thme is sweet)
