  1. haha, that reminds me of that Indiana Jones movie. Ya know... where the guy is doing a lot fancy sword movement and Dr. Jones shoots him. One of my favorite scenes.
  2. Yeah, I like Jimmy Eat World and Millencolin. I only know of one song from each of them though, so I didnt put them on the list. *shrugs* Ill check out those other bands though. Thanx.
  3. WHOA! He is trying to get hired to be an assassin! He didn't even complete his training! Thats horrible. I wonder if anyone actually hires him for such things.
  4. Im a huge Linkin Park fan! They SO rule! Aside from that, I like Blink 182, Sum 41, Nirvana, Pennywise, Alien Ant Farm, Nickleback, some Beastie Boys, etc. One of the Backstreet Boys is my cousin, so, of course, I like them, but please dont rag me about it. I get enough of that from my friends.
  5. Thats quite an interesting site!
  6. My favorite weapon would most definately be my katana.(I'll never forget my first katana when I was 7. *wipes fake tear from eye* haha) My throwing knives and shurikens are close behind though. With my hand claws coming in at a close third! Ok, I love all of my weapons. lol _________________ *To HELL with opportunity! 7. Hidy didy zulu! Welcome to the forums! Hope ya have fun here!
  8. What do you have to choose from? As in... What styles are taught in your area?
  9. I crack my joints all the time (It sounds like someone is doing riverdance on bubble wrap, haha) and I havent had any problems. They might show up later though. Im tryin to quit because I only do it out of habit.
  10. I would like to train with one, but I dont have the money to buy one. I tried making one out of a telephone pole in my back yard, but that didnt work out well, haha. Every time someone comes to my house they always ask why there are wooden rods coming out of the telephone pole.
  11. True, guns ARE easier, but we need to know how to defend against them and how to use them. Ive been shooting (with rifles, shotguns, handguns, etc.) since I was about 6 or so. My mom is a state trooper and she taught me how. If someone breaks into your house, knowing how to use a gun would greatly come in handy. Not knowing whether or not they were armed, it would be quite unwise to attack them barehanded. In America, we are allowed to shoot intruders. Im not sure how the laws are in other countries though. I dont think that gun training in general should be considered a martial art, but I think that they should be incorporated into the training. Since there are so many crimes involving guns, I think that everyone should know a little about guns so that they know what to expect, how to deal with it, etc. etc.
  12. I read in Kung Fu Qigong magazine (a few months ago) that China was going to put San Shou in the Olympics and Cung Le was going to be the American team coach. Might be wrong though. *shrugs*
  13. Some people should just stay out of the dojo. Thats brutal. I think he should have gotten a tougher sentance! A guy hitting a woman just burns me up.
  14. I think that SOME police photos should be made public. Being the son of a trooper, I have seen some pictures that are pretty gruesome. I doubt that many people could handle them. The ones of drug addicts and the such are okay, but when it gets to pictures of mangled bodies and blood, I think those should stay in the police files. As long as most people could see the picture without vomiting, Im all for it.
  15. I am 15, until Halloween. The most energetic time of my life so far! Well..... at least until I get my car in October.
  16. Heh... Well, one time at my first (and only) tkd belt test, one of the judges asked "Does anyone know what Hell is?" I dont know why he asked that. I live in south georgia *the heart of the Bible belt*. Maybe that had somethin to do with it. Anyway, I was about 5 at the time and I yelled "I DO! I DO!" He said,"Alright, what is it?" I said "Its the place where the devil lives." He asked,"How do you know that?" I replied...."My grandma tells my grandpa to go there all the time!" My sensei put his hand over my mouth while he and my parents dragged me out of sight while I was trying to ask ,"What'd I do?!?" Maybe the judge explained why he asked the question, but I doubt anyone heard it over the roaring laughter.
  17. With the crazy storylines and the fighting, it is just a soap opera for dudes! Although not only dudes like it.
  18. Nope, dont think so. If I ever said I was younger, then it must have been a type-o or sumthin. Sorry about that. October 31, 1986 has always been my birthday, lol. Im gonna go check all of the posts Ive made and make sure tho. Still, Im 15.

  23. You are SO not gonna believe this!! They actually DID think it was a drunken form!!! Apparently the only martial arts movie any of them ever saw was Legend Of Drunken Master! *thanks Jackie Chan* Finally, some good luck that was long past due.
  24. hahahaha That benchpress thing happened to me! Ive got some old shorts with no button on them and had to wear them as a last resort to my weightlifting class. They kept unzipping and almost falling off for an hour and a half, lol. (thats how long our classes are) I kept asking my friends if they had any duct tape. Hey, I live in Georgia, a few of them said yes, lol. They left it in the locker room tho. dangit
