Yes dicipline is very important when dealing with jerks like this, the ability to stay calm yourself and not have the thing turn ugly requires much dicipline.

11/26-AM: 30 minute conditioning circuit 20minutes sparring 40 minutes grappeling worked deep halfguard sweeps and freeroll PM: Spent 90 minutes trying to explain to a new student that acting like a wild animal while grappeling in a bad idea and will get himself or other hurt. Not sure if he got the message. -

If it is just pushing, you have nothing to defend against, when it becomes something more dangerous than just shoving, then you have a right to defend yourself. imho -

Our academy is starting to offer womens self defense classes, i am partially in charge of the content of these classes. Just want to hear some ideas of what the content of the classes should be?

Wolverines have a them according to wikipedia. And you were right about Lamentations, it is a book in the old testament. It's only 5 chapters long and takes up about 1 page. Easy to overlook, but it's there. First off, I have great respect for George Dillman and his system. I have experienced his system through a credited instructor. This instructor is a part of our organization and i also have the upmost respect for him as well. Saying this i am EXTREMELY skepical when it comes to chi knockouts. I have been knocked stupid by series' of pressure point strikes. I just can't believe this can be done to a non willing opponent in a combatively effective way. Once again just my opinion, I will admit that i am wrong when somebody can show me first hand.
