I have fish, 2 horses one is Babe she is 34 years old quarterhorses and thoroughbred,I have had her since I was little, and I have Shanya she is a 7 year old quarter horse and morgan, I have had her since she was 1 1/2 years old. I have a cat named Shiznit. I have 2 German Shepherds named Shadow she is 4 an she was rescued from the mill in which my husband works at she ran wild there and they had the dog catchers in to get her we got her first. and I have Zuka she is 3 months old.
Mine is NCIS, CSI Miami, Ghost hunters, The Pittsburgh Penguins right now (Go Pens), Mash repeats, and of course Survivor, Big Brother, Amazing Race and Ultimate Fighter.

First of all welcome. Do not be nervous I had a similar dream as you and could not follow intill I was 31yrs old so your age is not a problem to be honest that is young (I wish I was that young when I started). As for picking a school sit in on the classes and try their trial period if they have one before making the decision. Another thing you could look for if you are nevous of being a woman, look for other woman look at there rank and look how hard they train, that will tell you how long they have been there and and see if they are intense in there training the last theing you want is someone going through the motions that is not what you want exspecially if you want to compete. (you do not want a belt school meaning you move up in rank fast, you want to earn your rank it means more, believe me it does)I would also look for something that has lot of self defense in their curriculm punching and kicking is fine and great. but what if some one graps you or chokes you, Just and idea from another woman's point of view and something that would be good in your tool belt.
We usally see how many you can do and 2 min. We did a drill a while back with a round timer 2 min. and see how many you can do with a 30 second rest and then another 2 min. and see how many you can do. we also do how many you can do in 5 min. the goal is 50. But you do it how ever you want. I'll do 10 to 20 at home while practicing katas (doing in between the katas) at home that makes the legs really tired after a few.
