well running (both sprints and in place,push ups ..200 kicks with each leg (front,side, roundhouse,back)followed consecutively for a total of eight hundred kicks going more so for speed than power..followed by by crunches and v sit ups then some three point kickouts and if i happen to be training at the local track which i sometimes do ill run the bleachers up and down until i nearly collapse...i do all of this yet i remain a "big" guy i dont know why and its very frustating...

i know we had alot of new people come on board in the last week..how many of you new guys are korean stylist..and your background please... i kinda think this forum is starting to look the same as general karate disscusions and would like to shift the focus back to taekwondo..

some of you people out there have real issuses...im getting scared...me im a real life hypnotis..im a salesman...i can turn a "im just looking" into a three thousand dollar sale in under 15 minutes and i never read a book....maybe i should write one...

i have never tried ice but i assume it is more difficult than concrete...concrete is hard but it still hass thousands of little air pockets and a certain degree of brittleness but ice is just solid....no "give" at all ...same for rocks...you shouldnt even consider trying any breaks wood or other materials unless you are properly trained..most of this preperation is in the mental discipline and focus and speed..believe it or not the very thousands of hand conditioning from basic(like pounding a 2x4 with rope wrapped around it) to bizzare (like some idiots shoving thier hands into some hot charcoals and wondering why the skin is falling off..after seeing this in some movie about the shaolin) has very little to do with the actual break..most important factors are speed,focus and follow through..final thought when you hear people say "dont try this at home" you probably shouldnt....

just curious what branch of taekwondo teaches nunachuck..or is this for demo/shows only???

by the way those of you who are constantly saying tae kwondo is only kicks this is one of the most commonly used hand tecniques of taekwondo (taekwondo meaning the way of the hands and feet)....please remember the diffrence of sport and "real" taekwondo...

rigehand is a most powerful strike many people dont realize it is more powerful than a fist this is one of the most powerful hand strikes one can deliver.. i personally strike through 14 boards side by side in breaking demonstration if i smack you with one of these you will not remember what your name is afterwards i promise or your money back..i will put your dental plan into effect..this is one of my favorite strikes...

sorry brother this was back in the day i dont even think they invented camcorders yet....im talking about back when run dmc were just starting out..the days of afrika bambatta and grand master flash..whoa i just caught myself im starting to sound like an elder..anybody got some pokeman cards they want to trade..and by the way im sitting here watching cartoons and eating a big bowl of captian crunch..still a kid at heart

thanks rush that was exactly what i was thinking..i only say america becuase thats all i know..i do not speak of things that i am not aware of...but my main point is i would imagine that it is far easier here to make a fortune exploiting the general public through martial arts schools..theres alot of money here and alot of naive people who are eager to part with thier money..someone correct me if im wrong....
