  1. How much fat you've cut out of your diet can have an adverse effect on your body as well. I found that when I tried to really lean up and went super crazy with cardio and cut almost all fat out of my diet(I mean I was boiling chicken breasts here....blech) that my hair got really coarse, and my fingernails became really brittle. I don't have the same problem as you, but I would reccomend seeing a doctor too.
  2. It would be cool to have one for sparing, or a match......I'm getting one for my mountain bike helmet in the spring. I'm wondering what kind of abuse they take.
  3. Click this link!!! http://shop.viosport.com thanks
  4. Nah, this reeks of a domestic type terrorist. I've noticed that the domestic terrorist tries to be sneaky and underhanded and attempt to outsmart law enforcement, keeping their identity hidden, where international terrorists seem almost eager to claim responsibility for their actions........just an observation.
  5. The Calf was more painful then the back if i remember correctly...I also sweated buckets when I got the calf done......weird.
  6. I would like to see Saddam's regime topple, however I think it should have been done properly in the 90's during Desert Storm. George Bush isn't convincing me with his reasoning this go around. However if the US goes it alone and then wipes out Saddam, who are they going to replace him with? The problems with Iraq are not going to be solved with simply knocking off Saddam, just like the problems with Afghanistan are not soon over .
  7. I have 3 tattoos...One on my left shoulder of the Egyptian eye of Ra. I have a maple leaf on my right calf and the chinese symbol for the year of the Tiger on my back where my neck meets my torso. Planning on getting a bunch more in the near future.
  8. Man who walk through Airport door sideways is going to Bangkok
  9. Right hand lead is what is usually known as a "southpaw"stance.
  10. I attended Lethbridge Community College, where I sometimes attended class. Most of the time I was drunk or hung over...it switched depending on the time of day. I quickly realized that Renewable Resource Management was not the course for me and hung around the school until the Dean planted her cloven hoof to my arse and booted me out.....
  11. Fueled by Anthrax It's an awesome workout tune and it runs through my head whenever I'm freeriding and hucking!
  12. Capioera is a mixture of dance and martial arts. When the Spanish occupied South America way back in the day, this style of martial art was created and it was disgiused as a dance in order to be able to train without persecution from the Spanish.
  13. I work as a guard in a prison, and I've never seen anyone try this. Mostly you see inmates do some pushups and then flex and touch their chest for 30 mins....FEEL THE BURN!
  14. Year of the Tiger... I have it tattoo'd on the back of my neck
  15. http://pinkbike.com quite possibly my favorite new site...I've been attempting to break all my bones by jumping my bike off large cement structures!! Wish me luck!!
  16. Cutt calories and increase daily cardio excerise. Start by finding out your BMR (base metabolic Rate) it will determine the number of calories your body needs to sustain itself at your current weight . Drop about 300-500 calories daily, while increase your cardio exerise(running, biking, skipping rope, etc). Calorie counting sucks, but it is a nessicary evil do get that ripped up six!
  17. Here's a few website good for San Shou http://shaolinwushu.tripod.com http://sanshou.com I train and compete in San Shou and it's a blast....full contact, throws,no clinching for a round. Most tournaments however do not allow knees or elbow strikes which is disappointing, because i love my knees!
  18. Carrot Top and that kid from "The Sixth Sense"....he's sooooo creepy
  19. I'm a Correctional Officer. I get to tell people to make their bed and get told to f- off every single day.
  20. I read that a Canadian sniper providing cover for American Troops in Afganastan has a confirmed kill at 2430 meters! That breaks the previous record from Vietnam of 2200+ meters. Now tell me that dosen't take a little skill and dedication. Here's a link to the story http://www.canada.com/edmonton/edmontonjournal/specials/troops.html [ This Message was edited by: Northren Ogre on 2002-07-13 02:33 ]
  21. I don't recall a lot of Tech -9's kicking around 50 years ago. Plus attitudes were alot different 50 years ago, people were still getting over WW2 and Korea, with violence not being glamourized as much through television and movies. Kid wore "bobbie socks" and put grease in their hair to rebel. Besides haven't you seen "The Outsiders" The *****in weapon was the good ole Switchblade!
  22. Most Law enforcement have switched to the Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) spray for day to day spraying, due to the fact that it is non lethal, easy decontamination and cleanup. the CN gas, or Tear gas has to be formulated to figure out it's lethal concentration factor...too much CN in an area and it's dirt nap time for protesters. Plus with decontamination and cleanup of CN gas, you pretty much have to burn everything it touched, particulate stays forever.
  23. Nuff said Bon! Gound 'em and Pound 'em! [ This Message was edited by: Northren Ogre on 2002-07-09 23:25 ]
  24. I find this bio funny. They've left out the fact that he was a ballet dancer for years, which gave him his felxibility and aireal prowess. However i remeber "No retreat No Surrender"...But I'm going to have to rent Missing in Action to see ol JCVD.
