I've trained kyokushin in Australia for nearly 9 years consistently, currently shodan but going for nidan in December. Thats about it

I see them as stepping stones.

It is good to have another kyokushin member. It seems out of the 12 million students worldwide only about 10 have PC's.

Capoeira = Dancing Looks good, but if you are looking for a MA that you can use to protect yourself, go elsewhere.

I think those categories look good, can't think of any others.

I dont know how fast they progress through belts in TKD, but it probably should take a about 4+ years. But you are going to get a heap of replies saying 'He will get it when he is ready' etc.. and those replies will be true, but the usual time period is about 4 years to learn all technique.

I got this from another forum and was interested in what people here thought. Which MA do you guys think that is more effective on the street; Brazilian JuJistu or Judo?

My favorite time to train is after dark. 7/8pm+ depending on the season.

Same...not that I was ever getting bored with karate, it just further motivated me to train.

Id say hapkido beacuse of the high quality teaching you would be getting.

What 'patches' are you talking about?

Kyokushin has about 20 kata.

I voted <17, anyone 15-16 and over should be able. The options should be <15 and 16<.

Sounds like a usual class for me.
