  3. im a ITFer. i dont think that it matters toooo much but it does depend on what you will learn and how you will spar.
  4. i believe you should practise all of them. the basics are the most important part of any system.
  5. im a striking man although i do think that grappling is important.
  6. we do step sparring at TKD, i beleive its part of grading requirements further up. ive only done 3 step so far.
  7. practise and more practise, ive heard its sposed to be the stongest techniques your body can throw. (not when i do it though)

  13. i recon some kinda stick would be best eg. bo, jo, escrima. beacuse you could easily improvise it from something.
  14. writing a post in another thread gave me an idea. what is the stupidest place/situation you have bowed at/in? goin into R.E was when my brain decided to make me bow full out to the teacher. almost got a detention for that . where have you bowed?

  16. ooow i just remembered today i was chatting to my friend (who also does TKD) and we were goin to R.E and just as i walked into the class for some reason i turned to the teacher bowed and sat down on a seat. until i realised what i had done and joined everyone else in laughing at me!

  18. yeah sometimes. when i started here i knew almost nothing but now i have learnt a heck of alot more! i should have diss TKD back then, i didnt know nearly enough about it.
  19. we did about stress in a PSHE lesson (its a pointless lesson where you learn about random stuff) i got 70%
  20. i tihnk i could use my TKD "skills" in real life, it has helped me get my hips into my punches/kicks more. its helped me get more power. i think it would be useful to me on the street.
  21. i try and condition my hands up alittle so it doesnt hurt so much, but ive heard quite abit about how old people who conditioned alot cant pick things up? is this true coz it would give me a whole new look at conditioning.
