  1. Good site that Bilang.com, make sure you stretch a healthy load before you unleash your extreme kicking upon the world.
  2. so you were on the ground like on your back? Then you tried swingin your leg like a roundhouse kick and hit his knee with your foot and broke your foot? If thats the case, OUCH!
  3. Girls in MA are definite +'s, a girl with a desire to be fit and know how to defend herself, along with an underlying goal of enlightenment, who could ask for more! Besides you won't have to worry about her when she walks those dark alleys at night ^_^
  4. ?????? I don't get it. I think Sonny Chiba made some movie tribute to Oyama Sensei thou. You typed O'yama earlier probably a typo but like most Irish names the ' in Oyama makes it look like O'connor, or O'reilly, or O'harra. All of which are Irish names, and pronounced OH, YAMA. Or OH, CONNOR. You get the picture, hope that helps.
  5. Cool, thank you guys for that, i never knew it was a tribute to Bruce Lee, makes sense now.
  6. http://www.bilang.com/system.php i didnt view that site yet, it said something about too many people downloading so ill wait till later, but u can try my link and go to the left where it says video gallery and check those miniclips out. To download them right click on the file and select save target as and place it wherever and watch it on ur media player. I liked em and i think they will be similar to Jlee's video.
  7. OMG YOU MEAN YOU DIDNT SCORE! is probably what you'd expect from a narrow-minded, egotistical loser, or your best friend. Enough said, and congratulations. My prom was about the same, was my self, did mostly what June1 said and all went well.
  8. Id have to agree with Mr. Mike, ive never seen iron monkey 2, but id have to say Iron Monkey 1 rocked so much that it makes up for w/e u think is bad in its sequel, but thats just me
  9. I'd have to say when starting something knew, and using muscles you have never utilized before there is no doubt you will feel pain in the beginning. Like most kinds of physical exercises you will be rebuilding muscle and therefore undergo a change in your body. Fortunately you will get stronger from it if you never give up, and your body will adjust. Good luck tho and hope you the best.
  10. I dont know about the japanese karate movie part, but they did make a great korean movie on the life of Mas Oyama, its a great drama/action/everything anyone would want in one film. It portrays Oyama in the light most martial artists are not portrayed in. It touched me deeply. Oh yea, the title of the film is "FIGHTER IN THE WIND."
  11. I just saw Fist of Legend about a month ago and thought it was pretty uncanny how its plot and how Jet Li (besides being the main characters) was very similar to Bruce Lee and Fists of Fury. For example the whole poisoning of his master, same in both movies, Jet and Lee going over to Japanese dojos and kicking butt, and of course the retreat into wilderness where both characters had females accompany them in these scenes. I would research but im too lazy and i think the info i get here will be more valuable. Please feel free to state your opinion/facts on this topic. TY P.S. the titles are similar too ^_^
  12. Way of the Dragon (Return of the Dragon) Enter the Dragon Fists of Fury Chinese Connection Game of Death
  13. Of course gotta pay my respects to the Mortal Combat and Street fighter series, but i like to adapt to the newer things and i have to say Tekken Series is the best, you have Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan "clones" in the same franchise, who could ask for a better combo? Wheres JET! this video clip shows just how awesome Street Fighter was, im no SF expert, nor a genious but i take it that was a pretty amazing moment. http://www.lookatentertainment.com/v/v-943.htm
  14. I am a great fan of Bruce Lee, Jet Li, Jackie Chan and Steven Chow but these are the ones that stand out to me. I tried to make my selection as open minded, and versatile as i could, but these films all get an A+ in my movie book. Return of the dragon (Bruce "the Kung Fu Master") Enter the dragon (Bruce "the philosopher") Fist of Legend (Jet Li) 36 crazy fist (Jackie Chan) Ong Bak (Tony jaa) Fighter in the wind (Mas Oyama Fans) Kung Fu Hustle (Steven Chow)
