Yes you are right.If you teach a mix style you will have more people train with you and you will be a better fighter.

Who is master dave leynton? What school did he run? He was the head master of the utah area a few years back. He was a 7th dan.

At USSD, I beleave you have to give 33% of the profit to them.

Too true.Iam going to start off small and build my school up before I get a a large space. As for advertising I know how ussd did it. So I'll make alot more money because the money will go in my pocket(not theirs).

When I open my school I am going to invite different masters to the dojo and teach a mixed martial art, not just shaolin kempo.

I dont know why these people open schools with mc dojos? You would make more money on your own then with a mc dojo. $100 a month for classes for 100 students= $10,000 a month. Thats 120,000 a year

Hey jwluiza, How much are the classes? What did you like about? What did you not like about it? What degree of black belt was the instructor and how long has he been training? I notice alot of instructors are pushed threw the ranks to run schools. Did the instructor know charles mattera was with grand master fred villari before he went on his own.

I hate how alot of these mcdojos charge so much. If I open a school I would charge only 75 to 100 a month so everyone can train.

That's another mis-statement. The forms and combo's of Shaolin Kempo are not Kajukenbo. I've seen all the SKK forms and combo's required for 1st degree, and only recognized one technique that resembled a Kajukenbo "Punch Counter". Each generation from Sonny Gascon to George Pesare, to Nick Cerio, to Fred Villari changed, removed, and added material. Sorry about that mister bishop. I dont like how you dont get any of the green, brown and black testing fees.Also if you are good enough to train someone to black and beyond, can't you test them also?

Hi all, I wish mattera and company would just say that they teach kempo with kungfu later. The forms to black belt are not shaolin, they are kajukenbo kempo forms. Your shaolin defense maneuvers(DM's)are kajukenbo kempo combos. In my opinion they probabley thought shaolin sounded more marketable. They also dont put fred villari in their black belt manual.That's where mattera got 1st -7th black. Sunny victor gascon made up most of the system up to black and combos 1- 26 but their is no mention of him in their b.b manual. In my opinion if you lie about what you teach than what else are you lying about? Please dont take this the wrong way cpw there is alot of good instructors in ussd and it sounds like you have a good one so keep training their if you like. I would not sign up for instructors college.

CPW do you train with ussd? Look at https://www.theshaolinway.com grand master damasco is not wearing any ussd apparel. He is promoting how to run your own school and training tips and is offering certification for instructors. I dont think mattera would approve of helping the competition.From what I've seen thats not the ussd way, just my opinion.
