Rudy horn was villaris or partner when he left cerios in 71. they were both 2nd dans and larry was a green belt. I was just wondering if knew what happened to him? You can look up some of this at https://www.kempokan.com I was just curious if mattara was villaris partner because alot of his instructors on theses forums clam so, and I dont know if its true?

Was mattera a partner with villari or just a top instructor? Do you know when they started calling it shaolin kempo? Do you know what happened to rudy horn?

I would go with an independent school. But I would give villaris a try.

To true. There are alot of breakoff schools who would like to train with grandmaster villari but dont want to be part of any organization. They just want teach and do their own thing and not have to pay all these franchise fees. He would make alot more money if he opened his seminars to everyone.

You have experience so why not try jeet kune do? Its really for advanced students anyway and you'd love the angles the trapping and different fighting ranges. there are no forums in jkd just fighting I used to train with USSD so I know you'll lke jkd.

So which is better VILLARIS or USSD? My friend said you cant own a school a 100% anymore from USSD and at VILLARIS you can. So thats one point for VILLARIS. USSD schools are around $125,000. VILLARIS are around 40,000. Thats one more point for VILLARIS. VILLARIS has a lot of high ranking masters ussd does not. One more point for VILLARIS. VILLARIS goes to the shaolin temple for 10 days and you learn 3 forms a day for 10 days USSD from what my friend told me they learn 1 FORM!!! And just tour china for the rest of the time from what my friend told me.Thats one more point for VILLARIS. in my opinion thats 4 points for VILLARIS 0 points for USSD. So what do you guys think on which one is better?

It sounds like you have a good instructor sherri, can you ask your instructor why villari was not put in as MATTERAS instructor? And why instructors cant own a dojo 100% anymore?
