Like Sensei said,If you have some knowledge and have trained with,with a teacher before,then books and videos can certainly suplement your training,but learning from scratch Is near impossible,and you wouldn't have anyone to correct you if you were doing it wrong.That would probably lead to lots of bad habits.

I thought Life was funny,National Lampoons Christmas Vacation was great.A lot of Eddie Murphys older movies are good.Scary Movie 1 was real funny to me way bak when I saw it.

Dont complain to me if it's not a style,thats what it says.I think that would actually be about tha same as saying Japanese Karate,which is a lot narrower than Karate in general.We know that it wouldn't be Okinawan,and just food for thought Steve Demasco teaches chinese kenpo.

Yeah,tha phone book is a good idea,or use tha internet.^^^ WOW 2 hrs is a nice little drive,I drive for about 20 minutes.I guess you really get to reflect on your training on tha way home.

I just started over as a white belt in Enshin Karate today.Whippe for me.I'm only 23 so I have many many years left in me.

Well,I'll be leaving here in a hour and a half,to start classes again,man I'm so excited.

You ain't lying strangepair,I just hope tha good Lord blesses me that my wife and myself will still be around when he tests for his first belt.I never met my biological father,so he wasnt around when I did MA's when I was younger.So these little thoughts and dreams mean tha world to me,maybe my little girl will be involved too .

Thanks guys,This time it's more important to me.Since I have children now maybe they can watch and enter into tha world of martial arts.I'm hoping within tha next couple of years,My son will want to start.It'll be great to go early so I can watch him train,then he can watch my class,and we can have those father and son talks about it on tha way home.That's living my friends.

I guess you'd have to talk to someone who still goes up to tha mountain,to train Karate.

I'm excited I've been out of training for a little over a year (training in a DOJO,I still do training at home) When I had my forst son 5-26-03 I was doing Lai Tung Pai at tha time did that for a while.Then over tha course of time I just didnt have tha time for classes anymore I would work on various Karate techniques at home or on tha bag this went on for a while, then my wife was pregnant again,and we had our little girl on 1-31-05.Now this coming Saturday I get to start brand new and fresh in Enshin Karate.Just thought I would share.

I hope he gets better.I don't think it would hurt to write more on tha card.It's amazing how a few words could bless someone.

I would say pick up tha street fighter series starring Sonny Chiba.You can buy tha first three in a bundled set for probably 10 bucks.

Sonny Chiba has lots of karate flicks.I always wondered why their were so little japanese movies myslef.Most japanese oriented movies concentrate on Samurais and Ninjas.Sonny Chiba is pretty sick though.
