  1. My last grils friend said that all men are dogs so I guess I am a dog. NO, for real, I have to been a tiger cross breded with a dog. I can get mad really easy and the " most feared " in school, and I am very trustfull and loyal like a dog. And who every whats to be an animal because they have " alot of sex", then you would want to be a pig. I heard a rummor that a pig ( yes both male and female ) can have a organism for 30 minutes non stop! Do you believe it?
  2. No. NO. College degree is very different then the belt system. No the belt means nothing. Respect every color belt in the school and dont' worry about getting the black belt. In Most schools, they don't even pay attention you when you are taking a belt testing. The system is: you have money? you give the money... you get the belt.
  3. Of course, any martial art has a long history of lifting weights. Chinese kung fu, for example, lift stones, "huge trees", and transport two buckets of water one one each hand with the arm rised up to train the shoulders. It is not weights like we train with but weights are weights.
  4. Speaking of teaching? I am young and I need a part time job. I am a really good teacher but they don't know that, they jude me by my age. I am only 17 years old. So, do you think I could get anybody for privite lessons, do you think they would judge me on my age, not on my teaching skills.
  5. I have been training for many years, but just to get it stright, do you lift heavy weight with low reps ( 4 to 7 reps) to build strengh and do middle weight with higher reps ( 8 to 12 reps) to building up the beef right? That is what I was told by Mans Health mag.
  6. I still have to wait till next summer but it is still very good. Thanks all for the support and I will tell you guys how hard the training is and how different it is. I heard alot about it and how so people would cry at night because they miss there fiamly and the training is extremly hard. Aw, how hard could it be!
  7. Hey, Thanks for taking your time and posting all this for me!
  8. Speaking of War, I love to study about war and the warriors. My favorite is The Three Kingdoms of China. The more you learn about it, the cooler it is. It has so many stories and so much brain power involed. If you by any chance speak chinese, rent the move call " Three kingdoms" it is only 30 video tapes and cost about 200 dallors to buy. Well, my role modle in live is Zhao Yun, the great general of shu. Really even cooler then the romans
  9. Hey Jan!!! I missied you sooooo much You better start posting again. I was looking for you!
  10. Noooo! It didn't work. I tried to put the nodding head on the subject but it didn't work. How come we couldn't put smiles and the faces on the subject?
  11. My parents said that if I do well in school( stright a's ) which is not to hard, I could go to china or thailand every summer for 3 month to train muay thai and san shou!!!!! Wow, it wouldn't be alot of money , only the air plan ticket is alot of moola, and the training is tough!! I just joined a teakwondo school and the people there who as a black belt couldn't even land one punch or kick on me... I am only a white belt since I train on my own. I just don't understand how bad the people are. But, I bet I will get beat in thai land and china thou because they are very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very good. I know my love to fight will pay off!! And any suggestion for me when I get there? By the way, I am 80 percent sure that I am going to china to train instead because my chinese is not clear and I don't know how to speak thai at all. Bob
  12. Yea, I agree, I am a good build man with alot of power and I could do 180 degree splits and fonts splits and I could move well. Ask thaiboxerken how a big man like him do.
  13. For those who are not sure what shaolin kempo is ( " shaolin " that is a cule ) here, I copied this for http://www.shoalinkempo.com ( thanks shoalinkempo.com!!!) ------------------------------------------------------ History of Shaolin Kempo The Shaolin Temple was first built around 495 ad, by the chinese emperor Hsino Wen. It was in the great shaolin temple in the songshan mountains of central China that Buddharama, a sixth century indian monk first intro- duced buddhism and a form of mediation and fighting techniques. He introduced a form of breathing exercises based upon animal movements designed to strengthen and condition the body as well as the mind. The art of Shaolin Kempo Karate has developed from numerous styles of the martial arts including: SHAOLIN TEMPLE BOXING, JIU JITSU, KUNG FU, KEMPO, different styles of KARATE, as well as the secret art of the WHITE TIGER (Chin Na). Each fighting system offers some- thing both unique and special, but each also has it's weaknesses that make a fighter vulnerable. The ultimate in self defense lay not in one way or style of fighting, but by the integration of these methods of fighting into one. The Shaolin Kempo Karate fighting system is one of the only system that incorporates the movements of the original five animals: TIGER, LEOPARD, DRAGON, CRANE, and SNAKE. It is a system that promotes health and wisdom. Shaolin's theory of fighting is based upon effective multiple strikes off a powerful mobile base, with linear, angular and circular off- ensive and defensive motions with simultaneous manipulation of the opp- onent's upper and lower body masses. The art of Shaolin Kempo Karate with it's graceful movements for devel- opment of the internal energy & balance of the body's external strengths is the essence for producing a superior fighter. Shaolin Self Defense Centers believes by applying the physical and mental aspects of the martial arts into your personal lives, one will achieve harmony and balance.
  14. Is there any body here that just love to fight that you think that you are born to fight? Every time you fight you feel like a wild beast that has a thrist for blood? Well, I love to fight but there is no muay thai school near me so if I decide to train in Muay Thai, I need to move there or live in the camp. Any ideas to help?
  15. Hello every body I need to clear some things up so here is a list. 1) How important is weight lifting in thai boxing? I lift as much as I train my kicks and punches so it is 50 percent. What percent is good? 2) Is there any fighters here that fight for a living? 3) Where in the US could I go to a Muay Thai training camp, a place where I live in just like college but instead you train? Yea, I want to fight for a living to show how much I love training, My screen name for cs.com, yahoo.com, and kickboxing.com is all muaytb1. Standing for Muay Thai Bobby #1
  16. Bending the leg 90 degrees? Isn't that a bit to bended. I see thai boxers making there leg stright in a fight. How come?
  17. I can't tell the difference form a muay thai round kick and a teakwondo kick.
  18. Every Thing is natural. You just have to train.
  19. No, kempo is a style of kung fu and has nothing to do with japan. It has alot of low kicks and 60 percent punches and upper body stricks ( at least that is what my teacher said).
  20. I never try to use one way, or the other person will predicte it and defend it. If you fight for a living, you definitely don't won't to stick to one because before the fight, the opponent will study you form the last fight. By the way, are you planing fight in the ring like you said you will? If you are, then good luck!
  21. nan, i am happy to see every body els happy, that is all. no chang.
  22. I am about to take kempo kung fu lessons but I am really intrested in fighting in the ring. Muay Thai school are to far from where I live ( spotswood Nj). But somday I will go to a Muay Thai or a SanShou school. Do you think that kempo would help ( because the kicks are mostly in belowe the waist for street fighting) me in the ring or a wast of time. What els should I consider? And last, is there full contact fighting in karte or kungfu or teakwondo like the full contact muay thai? Thank alot.
  23. Me, my is the side kick. Once it is mastered, it is very hard to defend from it and it also dose alot of damage.
